OOH OOH! Im so excited- Ive been offered a small part in a new Brit horror flick- im not allowed to say much else about it right now cos a deal is being finalised- but they have a pretty big director on board- all I can say is 'NICE ON BRUVVER' hehe. Its pretty exciting stuff!! Oh and I get to die in it too /ubb/smile.gif lol. which is nice!!!
So....whats your favourite British Horror movie. I think mine is probably Hellraiser or The Wicker Man...

Ms.Fatale...congrats are in order! I guess this answers one of the questions I posed to you in the personal e-mail that I sent you. Best of luck, here's hoping you wind up on the business end of a wickedly sharp meathook! Fuck Yeah!
Also...great taste in flicks. "The Wicker Man" is in my all time top ten. Poor Seargeant Howie...I loved Lord Summer Isle...what a perverse flick this is.The ending is particularly jarring, as we see poor Edward Woodward pleading for his life as the Wicker Man burns to the heavens...brilliant.
I am very much into Celtic History and traditions, and that movie centered on one of the high Holy days, May Day, or, as we "Celts" call it, Belltaine.

Congrats Femme! Can I have an autograph picture? I'm serious.

Four British horror films that I admire are: AFRAID OF THE DARK (1991), which concerns a young boy (Ben Keyworth) losing his eyesight who begins experiencing visions of a mad slasher stalking blind women; THE NANNY (1965) with Bette Davis as the sinister title character; the 1960 controversial thriller PEEPING TOM; and the 1973 Vincent Price classic THEATRE OF BLOOD.
By the way, Femme Fatale...congrats on your new part.

Hehe, thanx guys- I feel famous already!!! Ok, Im allowed to give u a few details- the production company thinks its good publicity, seen as no one has decided to pick the film up yet- its being filmed independently.
It is called 'MindCage'- just a working title and it is about a babysitter who finds out that one of the kids she is looking after has special powers- the first half of it is pretty light- and the second half gets a bit scary...its actually pretty cool- a bit cheesy, but cool!
It is filming for 3 weeks here and then 3 weeks in Aberdeen (they are looking for extras- for anyone who lives in Scotland!)
Im really looking forward to it- as for autographed pictures, i think you are jumping the gun a little, Arrow!!! but im flattered...
I spoke to the casting guy on the phone last night and he told me why i had been picked, he said, not only am I a great actress *glows with pride* but i have the right look for the part.
So i asked what that was, and he said 'you're pretty, blonde and busty'....lol I didnt know whether to be flattered or offended!!!
You guys want me to keep you updated? cos everyone round here is telling me to shut up about it!! hehe.

I'd like to know how you got in the acting biz. /ubb/smile.gif

Ive been acting since I was about 5- Ive done hundreds of stage productions including Blood Brothers, My Fair Lady, The Pirates of Penzance, Grease, Kidnapped!, Breakfast at Tiffany's, Our Day Out, Your Average Sunday Best, etc, etc. And the drama group I go to had a poster up about an audition for parts in a film to be shot in my town- most people ignore them because they usually never happen, or they are for porn films and stuff...lol. But me and a couple of my friends went along and auditioned- and I got offered a pretty big part, well Im in about a third of the movie, and another of my friends got a smaller part!
I got into it through my aunt, who is a West End stage star (actually shes on Broadway right now!) and she introduced me to a drama group, and it has gone on from there- Ive had singing lessons, dancing lessons, crying lessons, dying lessons anything you can think of ive been trained to do it!!!
