Well, you had to know it was going to happen. I mean, the first one made a decent $37.5 million for a horror movie on a $10 million budget and let's face it, all Horror movies like this have sequels.
Everyone from the first that can come back for a second one is in it (for the most part). I wont spoil anything in here though. I saw it over at the www.imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com) just before.
Who is looking forward to this? I saw the first one today (Jan 8) and I thought it was good, a 7/10 or so. But what do you all think of JC2?

Well of course I would have to see part two, the last one left me at a stand still. I was hoping that the poor guy would at least get away, but I was wrong. Now in part two his sister will maybe come back with like an army or something to try and hunt the thing down. Or maybe she'll just go in alone.... But I highly think that she'll be back with an army after seeing a whole police staion full of guys turned into a large indoor graveyard. I mean, I wouldn't even go near the state without some kind of protection of some sort.

I'll be there. The first was very cool and honestly creeped the hell out of me. The Creeper(Breck) is freaky and I would not go a hundred miles near him. I think the storyline will be The Creepers at his new home in FL will starting making another "House of Pain" and the sis will see it on the news. She will notice another wave of a massive missing persons. She'll then talk to the pyschic lady and she'll tell him shes dreamed about him. Then the sister and her boyfriend(some hollywood unknown hunk) will go to Flordia and hunt him down but he discovers them and a night of chasing and eating will follow untill The Creepers eats boyfriends heart and fly away. Girl follows and we have a set-up for "Jeepers Creepers 3 :The Creeper Returns" or something.

I thought Jeepers Creepers was an attrotious movie. The element of horror lasted for the first 20 minutes or so of the movie and totally lost it after that.
**********spolier****************************
It was attempting to give out loads of pre-empted scares (which didn't quite work) and was your basic run of the mill attempted scarefest.
It lacked any ambtition and severly made me leave the cinema at teh end, knowing i'd wasted £4.
To make a sequel is inevitable, and not at all surprising, although it's a terrible move to make. As are most sequels, but hey they get the money in (somehow) so they're always gonna be made.
I'm not looking foward to it and i doubt i will even rent this movie when it comes out.

JC was a decent horror movie, nothing more. I'm fairly indifferent to the idea of a sequel.

The more the marrier, even if they are not good, it will give more variety to people who may want to see it.

I really truly enjoyed Jeepers Creepers, especially for the performances of Justin Long and (especially) Gina Phillips. It did start to lose it a little at the end, but I still found it very entertaining.
As for a sequel...eh. I really liked the first one, but it seems like a movie that should not have a sequel. Oh well. I'll see it anyway.

I'd love to see a Jeepers Creepers 2, it would add more to the story, and that's what they need to do after the first ones cliffhanger ending. Jeepers Creepers was an entertaining horror flick one I truly enjoyed, it was also hands down the scariest flick of 2001 (I think). What they need to do is focus on Gina's character, have a boyfriend somewhere in the mix and just have the two of them hunt down her brother's murderer, it would be cheesy and fun at the same time. Oh, and they need to give Gina Phillips a nude scene or at least a bra and panties scene, she's to sexy not to have one. You guys have to agree that Gina was some awesome eye-candy in the first film...
DTM.....
I watched JEEPERS CREEPERS twice last night and I really enjoyed it and I thought the ending kicked ass, it was a little disturbing. Anyway, I can't wait for a sequel, I wonder when it will be coming out. At the IMDB it says 2002 but that can't be right can it? Have they even started filming? Has a script even been written? Oh well, anyway, I can't wait to see more of Gina Philips, she is so damn hot, she needs a nude scene in the sequel.
******SPOILERS******
But if the movie is called JEEPERS CREEPERS: NIGHT TWO, then obviously it takes place on the second night, so everyone who keeps saying they think Gina Philips will have a boyfriend in the sequel I kind of doubt it. Where would she find a boyfriend that fast? Plus she's upset over the death of her brother I don't think she'll be trying to pick up guys. Anyway, I'm not sure what the sequel will be about. It could have her hunting down the creeper, then they could just call the movie "TRISH THE CREEPER SLAYER." Well I thought it was funny http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif!!!
******END SPOILERS******
Anyway, I am very excited for the sequel, I can't wait. Plus, more GINA PHILIPS, Yesssss!!! Man is she a hottie. Bring on Jeepers Creepers 2.

I don't think a Jeepers Creepers sequel is necessary. I just watched the first one last night on DVD - that was some really freaky shit! I loved the ending, despite what most people I know have said, and I would keep the movie as it is, with no lame sequel. Sure, the movie had a bunch of cliches (car won't start, cops won't listen to the kids, etc.), but the tension in this flick built and built up to a great climax, IMO.
Jeepers Creepers: Night 2? Blah.

Night 2 is needed, in my opinion. There are so many un answered questions for me at the end of one.
Spoilers Ahead.
One of the most important ones, is what happened to the Creeper? I heard they were doing an Aliens type thing, and adding more than one Creeper.

I liked all of it. The first half hour everyone liked so much, and the rest which everyone absolutely hated. I don't think it lost anything after the first half hour. I loved when it broke into monster movie territory. It had a great ending too. That's what Darry gets for having that big eyed look
the whole time he was scared.
I think it threw most people off, starting with some crazy murderer attacking some poor kids while they were driving home then going in several completely different directions, By the end of the movie everyone was disappointed that the murderer was some rather cool looking monster. I personally preferred a monster as opposed to some maniac killing people. There are so many serial killer movies its retarted. You don't see monster movies alot.
I had fun watching it. I'd like to see a sequel as long as it keeps the same tone, and doesn't puss out.

*WARNING SPOILERS, DO NOT READ AHEAD UNLESS YOU'VE SEEN THE FILM OR CARE TO FIND SOME STUFF OUT ABOUT IT YOU WISH NOT TO UNTIL YOU SEE IT*
I just finished watching "Jeepers Creepers" (I finally found time). I must say I really enjoyed it. True, you could guess what was going to happen next, but it's like that with most movies nowadays. Like in the beginning, when they are driving and you see the R.V. turn off through their back window, and then you see the truck, I automatically knew it was the Creeper and that the movie was pick up from there. I really got interested in the movie once people started dying and they showed the Creepers face. My exact words were "Fuckin sweet". Good job with the make-up job people, you made a very ugly, very scary looking, badass horror film villain. Then, once he started chasing them and they got trapped at the police station, I really got into it. I very rarely get "into" films anymore. The ending totally shocked me, grossed me out, and scared the bejeezus outta me. Im gonna have that vision of the Creeper staring through the empty eye-socket in my dreams tonight.
As for a sequel, I would definitly love to see one. They need to make one. That way they can explain a little bit more about the Creeper and Trish can avenge her brothers death, although, I don't think she will since the Creeper is damn near invincible. Bring on the sequel is what I have to say!!! I hope it comes out this year too, why wait a whole year?
Also, I have that song in my head now and it's really creeping the hell out of me. Jeepers Creepers where'd you get those........

Ugh, that is stupid. No one is going to see it, because they'll think of it as a comedy/horror. And I think it would be better just to market it as a straight up horror film.

That's because when they reveal who the Creeper is it will be Meatloaf and he will break into a tear jerking rendition of Bat out of hell.

***SPOILERS***
I, personally, don't want to see a sequel. Why? Because I don't want Trish to die too.
Okay, that's an idiotic reason, but it's how I feel. I was really rooting for both of those kids during the whole flick, and then, when the ending came...well, you all know what happened...god, I can't get that image out of my mind...

That title does truly suck (I wish he'd just call it Jeepers Creeper 2, or the less annoying Jeepers Creepers: The Second Night), but I just read the tagline for the sequel on the IMDb, and I think it sounds really lame.
"The Creeper is back, hungrier than ever and ready to dine on a bus full of cheerleaders and football players on their way to a big game."
Sounds like a much stupider movie to me. The first one seemed to have more intelligence than the average teenager/monster movie (there's a reason I am yet to hear anyone refer to Jeepers Creepers as a "teen movie"), but the sequel is sounding more and more lame the more I hear about it.

Actually, that's the plot outline, not the tagline. The tagline is "he's still creepin'".

"He's still creepin'"?! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/redface.gif
Just put a bullet into this script and put it out of it's misery.

I actually did realize that, but I didn't realize I wrote tagline instead of plot outline. Sorry.
Crappy tagline, too.

I've decided that I probably won't rush to see this flick. I only saw the first one on DVD and it was just okay. Probably a 6/10 (maybe a 5/10). A sequel can only be worse, so I do think I'll skip JC2 until further notice.

Well, i just saw Jeepers Creepers for the first time last night and watched it again this morning...
As far as a sequel goes... I'll rent it.
I just hope the dialogue isn't the boring, hopeless filler for time like this first movie.
