URBAN LEGENDS: FINAL CUT

I haven't got around to telling y'all what i thought about this. It came out JULY 2nd and i was the first in the store. Ignoring everybody telling me it was a piece of crap, i sat down really expecting to like it. I also already knew who the killer was but i didn't care. I do now!

HOW BAD WAS THIS MOVIE????!!!!!!

Absolutely SHITE death scenes with minimum blood (apart from 'the kidney heist which was kind of cool, and the 'snuff' film). It didn't have any atmosphere and was SO NOT scary! Barely any stalk and slash scenes, or did i miss them from falling asleep?!! Oh, and the 'showdown' at the end was laughable! I thought i was watching an improvised play by a bunch of 12 year olds.

The only decent scene was the very end (y'all know what i'm on about - the nurse). I thought it was a nice touch, but in no way did it save the film. Oh, and i didn't think the motive was that bad either.

Anyway, all i'm saying is that this movie is SO BAD i'm looking back at watching VALENTINE and thinking it was quite fucking good. And URBAN LEGEND is a fucking classic. It's HALLOWEEN in comparison to this shite!

I actually preferred UL2 to the first one, sure it had its sream wannabe lameness to it that almost everything does now but I liked the film school stuff and it really wasn't that bad, I hated the first one all except for the Brad Dourif part and Gayheart being the killer, well that is just dumb.

I just don't know why some people didn't like UL2. It's a very good scary movie, and I also think it's better than the first. I loved Urban Legend, but Urban Legends: Final Cut is the one I really liked. Jennifer Morrison (who was also good in Stir of Echoes) , Matthew Davis (who is now at the "cute" comedy Legally Blonde) and Loretta Devine (from the original Urban Legend) were all great in this movie. The death scenes are very good... specially that Kidney heist scene, which is one of the best death scenes I've seen in these recent horror movies. I loved the ending. The horror sequel I really want to see, no doubt, is "Urban Legend 3".

I enjoyed it actually and the first killing rocked. Too bad the killings weren't that great after the first one, and you know what? They weren't even Urban Legends, only the first one... This movie could have been so much better if it would've had a better killer, and more kick ass Urban Legend inspired killings. The other killings were either done offscreen or they were lame. Like people getting electrocuted (I know I spelt that wrong) or beat to death - can you say LAME... But for the most part I liked the movie and the lead character was also very likeable... Also, am I the only one that thinks the lesbian chick looks like Gina Gershon? Anyway, she was very hot... The movie was good, but it could've been so much better, I would've been satisfied with some better killings and a better killer. The killings really piss me off, besides the first one, they sucked. The first one was cool and then it went downhill from there.
I still prefer the first UL but I liked them both and I'd give them both the same grade...

I know, I hope to see her in more movies. I checked at the IMDB to see if she had any new movies coming out and I don't think their was any, maybe I should check again because their might be some now. Anyway, man was she hot, maybe she should've been the main character. But nah, she was more believable as the sexy lesbian vixen, too bad SPOILERS*******SPOILERS********SPOILERS
