Hi everyone, this is my first post on this messageboard, but I hope to be a regular poster.
Now, recently I bought "Bloody Murder" on DVD. For those who haven't yet, you MUST SEE THIS MOVIE. Do not under any circumstances buy it, but you must rent it and watch it in as large a group of people as possible.
Forget Austin Powers, forget Airplane!, forget every movie you ever saw before, this is the funniest movie of all time. And the great thing is, it's not meant to be - it's deadly serious!
Has anyone else watched this movie, and what are your opinions on it if you have? Personally I think this is the definition of bad filmmaking - cheesy but hilarious.
The movie is the ultimate ripoff of Friday the 13th. The killer has a hockey mask and is called Trevor Moorhouse... pretty close to Jason Voorhees if you ask me. The characters are lifeless, the camera work is shocking and the murders (or at least, those that you see and aren't simply faded to black) are so cheap it's excellent.
I only wish this movie had been on Mystery Science Theatre, they would have ripped it apart.
