How about those horror flicks that you were looking forward to that really let ya down? BASKET CASE would be one of mine- it was good, but not as good as I'd expected.

I was really disappointed in the first Howling. I just can't into the story, I mean I love the beginning but the ending quite stupid and silly.

I agree as well. The Howling really let me down in the end.

Urban Legends 2 and Halloween 7 were disappointing to say the least.

Amityville was really boring, and aside fom a few redeeming points, it pretty much sucked. So that'd make my list.

Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2.
Child's Play 3.

John Carpenter's Vampires lead my list. I am a big fan of The Thing and rushed to see this abomination, and to think they're talking about a sequel*shudder*

I'm going to wait for the reviews on Ghosts of Mars before I go give him more of my money again.

Kevin, they're not just talking about a sequel: They're done filming /ubb/wink.gif. It's written and directed by Tommy Lee Wallace and titled Vampires 2: Los Muertos.

Witchouse
Carnosaur

The remake of "The Haunting". Yes, I did like the film but it was a let down considering it wasn't scary and had a great premise, with modern day technology.

Blair Witch Project

All my friends told me that it was the scariest movie they had ever seen. So, I bought it instead of renting first. I wasted a perfectly good 15 bucks. I did find it comical though.

Francis Ford Coppola's overblown 1992 version of Bram Stroker's DRACULA, with Gary Oldman at his overrated worst!

Hollow Man
The Cell
Bloody Murder
Pitch Black
Pumpkinhead 2: Blood Wings
Hellraiser III: Hell on Earth
The R-rated version of Spawn(there's barely any difference)

Bloody Murder? I didn't know anyone thought it was more than a piece of shit to begin with? Anyway, I think Rosemary's Baby is overrated. It was slow, and hardly kept my interest. The only thing that saved me was Mia. Man was she a hottie!

By the way Antonio, Gary Oldman is far from overrated. Superb would be a better description.

The only Gary Oldman role that I liked was his Lee Harvey Oswald persona in JFK, which he surprisingly underplayed.
