I haven't had the pleasure of viewing a Dario film as of yet. I bought the sets today. I didn't bother with the Demons/Demons 2 set but I bought Tenebrae/Deep Red and Inferno/Phenomena. Witch one should I watch first?

The only Dario Argento films I've seen are SUSPIRIA, TRAUMA and CREEPERS (aka PHENOMENA). They're all pretty good, but Argento is an acquired taste (as are most giallo films). Go with PHENOMENA.

I have the DVD of Deep Red. It's a good mystery movie. BTW, are those 2-disc sets? Do they have the extras on their original DVD's or not? I was thinking about getting the Inferno/Phenomena set.

I have Anchor Bay's Inferno/Phenomena DVD set which is a good investment if you are a fan. AB puts good features on their discs.

The commentary is difficult to understand at times but all the extras make up for it.

I'd say watch DEEP RED first out of the ones you own (it's the best of Argento's "Giallo" films), though SUSPIRIA is definitely the best introduction to Argento one could have...Before you sit down to watch INFERNO, it's a must that you at least go out and rent SUSPIRIA first, as INFERNO is a companion piece to that film, though not a direct sequel. INFERNO is difficult enough to comprehend even if you HAVE seen it's predecessor...it will make no sense whatsoever without the proper introduction. Your best bet is to watch them back-to-back; by the time you've soaked in the surreal atmospheres of SUSPIRIA, you might be ready to appreciate the strange, nightmarish nonsense of INFERNO.
