I just bought Intruder by Scott Spiegel. I thought it was awesome, albeit Spiegel's tendency to display some bizarre camera angles. I, however, found most angles satisfactory. It's no where near the annoying camera work found in Dusk 'till Dawn 2. Anyway, I just wanted to see if anyone else enjoyed this fun slasher. Also, I won the video off an online auction and it disclaimed it was the English Uncut version. Upon receiving the tape I discovered it was a bootleg copy - not the original! Can anyone tell me about the rarity of the uncut version (mine doesn't have Japanese subtitles) or some scenes that are in the uncut version because I want to make sure I at least have that version. Thanks a lot /ubb/smile.gif

Employees at a supermarket are being killed off by somebody while preparing for a going out of business sale after hours. The suspense and horror are tightly done in this film, exciting and fun throughout. It is such a shame that they had to edit out about five minutes of gore and killings to get this an R-rating. Nice ending too, with a surprise star at the end.

Been looking all over for it, but haven't got it yet. I've heard good things about it.

I got mine uncut too with subtitles. I wonder if there are any without the subtitles that is not cut. Anyways, this is a very good late 80's slasher and has some of the best murders I have seen in a movie. The trash compactor part and the bandsaw part stand out but all of the murders were well executed. Some movies cheat you on some of the murders by showing them off screen. But this gem does not spare any on screen kills. The only downfall to this movie is that the acting is kinda cheesy but it is a fun movie no doubt. After many viewings i have grown fond of the murder when the store manager gets the paper stack in the eye. I would give it an 8/10

Yeah I have Intruder on tape. I bought it geez like 3 or 4 years back (yeah isn't *that* a long time). I bought it to see Sam and Ted Raimi, along with Bruce (for his two seconds).
Very enjoyable film.
