Has anyone seen this flick? I was gonna watch it on the movie channel last night for the 1st time (my video places don't have it, damn little hick town!), but I was tired and I went to sleep. What does everyone think?

I haven't seen it either. I want to but none of the video stores I go to carry it... Maybe someday I'll get to see it!

Its not that great. In fact its not very good at all. Sleep is better.

Unfortunately, I've had the misfortune...

My mate used to rave about seeing it on early 80's home video, so I decided to order it from the States. It was a'kin to watching paint dry - not the 'controversial' slasher flick I was anticipating! Cool name, though.

I saw it last night (8/6/01) on The Movie Channel. It would have been much better without that irritating narration throughout! Ben Johnson (TERROR TRAIN) and Dawn Wells (Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island") were good, and the relentless, mean-spirited killer wore a pre-FRIDAY THE 13TH pillow case over his head. Was considered very scary back in the 70's, but seems dated in today's horror realm. It was based on a true story, which I suspect is supposed to make the film scarier?

Probably good u didn't try to watch this cause this movie wouldv'e definately put you to sleep and the tv would be blaring all night long. Maybe I need to see this after about 15 hours of sleep or with tons of caffeine. I can't seem to stay awake to finish this movie. So i can't say if it was bad or good but from what i remember it was pretty weak.

I didn't think this movie was that great, either. I think the main reason it got so popular is because it is based on a series of real events in Texas, where I'm from. You still hear stories about it there even now...especially since the killer was never caught.

Wow, I guess I'm glad I went to sleep!
