I have not seen anyone here mention this terrific, disturbing and bizarre movie. I belive it's from France, translated from (La citee des enfants perdue). It's very dark and unsettling, almost like something out of Marilyn Manson's mind or something. IF you can find this gem pick it up, and if you have seen it let me know what you think.

Superb movie! Much like the subject matter of the film itself, it's scarily close to being an actual dream on celluloid... One of my fav' foreign movies, period. It kinda puts me in mind of a TERRY
GILLIAM movie, with lashings of DAVID LYNCH thrown in for good measure. Seen DELICATESSEN, El? I haven't been able to, yet...

The makers also knocked out ALIEN RESURRECTION - who would've thunk-it!

Thank you, I am not alone. I do believe I saw Delicatesen, I need to see it again to refresh my memory. I think I was tired or stoned, cuz it's just a blur. By the way, I didn't mind Alien Resurection.

I didn't mind it either - I was just surprised to see who'd made it. i.e Going from French groundbreaking Cinema, to being the creative talent behind an ALIEN sequel! Maybe it was just a way of breaking into mainstream movies - whether that's a good thing remains to be seen... Usually, it isn't.
