Dawn of the dead

I know a lot of yall have seen dawn of the dead, I haven't though. I saw both night of the living deads (the original and the remake), day of the dead, and I really really want to see dawn of the dead because I heard it's cool and the best one. But no video stores around here have it. I called both blockbusters, video plus, and nobody has it, damn it! I called circuit city and they have it on dvd (to buy).

Well, for anyone who has seen it, do you think I should buy it? That's probly the only way i'll be able to see it.

Is it cool? What's it like/about? You think i'd like it? Anything you could tell me about it would be cool, just don't spoil anything. Thanks.

Sean, DAWN OF THE DEAD is THEE masterpiece of Zombie movies! Buy it ASAP, as long as it's the Unrated version! In a nutshell - take the basic premise of NIGHT, change the setting to huge supermarket, add copious amounts of sublime cartoonish-violence and sit back and delight in one of the greatest horror movies ever made!

From the director of Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead is a masterful horror film that makes you feel almost every human emotion possible. In my opinion, this movie is better than Night of the Living Dead because there's more zombies and the firepower is more advanced than in the predecessor. Tom Savini's spectacular gore effects give the movie a visceral feel and for a zombie film the acting is good enough. Probably the closest someone has ever come to a genuine horror classic (besides "Psycho").Buy it NOW!

I agree with everybody else; buy it. The thing is though, Anchor Bay is planning on releasing a Special Edition of both Dawn and Day of the Dead in 2002 (this is from Anchor Bay directly, btw). So if you can wait, I would. If you can't though, I would definitely buy it now.

Hey Sean Archer try Half.com thats where i find some rare hard to find movies or if you have a suncoast video store they can order movies for you, but about the movie buy I got the collectors edition from suncoast good shit

Ahhhh.... Dawn of the Dead... I'm glazing over just thinking about it!

I'm sure there are a few here who would have given the zombies their right arm to be in this situation. I know I would have... Spend the rest my days in a shopping centre, with nobody but the occaisonal zombie to knock off, sounds damn fine to me.

Me, a couple of sidekicks and the malls all mine. Imagine the fun!
Dont forget the skateboards!!!! Or is this just me being a little too stoned!!! either way, I dug it, the story was well placed, the situations realistic. The Zombies were their usual ghoulsih self... Although one cant help but feel sorry for them in this trilogy! They do get a bum wrap dont they.

Was it me or did everyone see the irony in the last scene of the "Night..." REMAKE. No matter, rent Dawn, buy Dawn, do what you can to see Dawn. /ubb/smile.gif
