Since 1991 the whole premise of horror films has slowly faded. I'm NOT talking about in general horror movies fading, I am talking about original, gory, fun, trippy, scary, disguistingly lovable horror films. In the past couple years terrible excuses like IKWYDLS, Scream, H20 (which WAS written by Kevin W.), and others have misguided horror fans to the theatre with HOT stars, cheap special effects, and story lines seemingly written by someone with only a fraction of creativity. What the f*** is going on here? Are the majority of people seeing these films pleased w/ the outcome. Films like Nightmare O.E.S., Friday the 13th, Halloween, Evil Dead II, Night of the Living Dead a/ others defined the horror genre. They were original, terrifying, creative, and the effects were way more thought out than MOST of todays "Horror Movies." What can we do about the mess that recently been created? Stop going to these movies is one thing. No they WILL not stop making Horror Films, they will just stop making pieces of s*** like ISKWYDLS, Scream II a/ III (what was Craven thinking) a/ others. The future does somewhat look bright, so don't think I am completely negative. Horror films a/ their special effects are my passion, and I just want to see the scene grow more intellegent (maybe), dark, gory, and creative again. (I think one of the best horror movies I have seen in years is Wishmaster but that's just me.) Directors of old-school are trying to make it w/ the in-crowd which saddens me. I just want a new wave of scare-fest movies to evolve upon us. That's just me though.

its hard to understand but its real simple-

OLD SCHOOL NEEDS TO BE NEW SCHOOL

a quote kinda, the old schoolers gotta get atleast a big draw crowd star to get the people wanting to see it and then the more they do that it has better chances of being released, one problem is teeny boppers dont know a good script when they see one...but i mean i just cant explain it.
