I'm thinking of buying it. Has anyone seen it? If so what did you think. Slash on!

I like it but it was a bit disappointing cause I read about it in a lot of books and they all had something great to say about it
I think that for the most part it's pretty average but it does have some cool stuff when he dress up like famous people from the movies and kills people that was cool you should buy it if it's not to expensive.

FADE TO BLACK (1980) Directed by Vernon Zimmerman. This is one of those "coulda been a contenda" movies. Dennis Christopher is a capable actor, and great in psycho geek roles...just check out his reign of terror as "Jack Of All Trades" on the "Profiler" reruns (now featured on Court-TV). The premise of having a horror film-obsessed killer don the costumes of his favorite movie villains was original at the time. And that Marilyn Monroe lookalike (Linda Kerridge). Wow! I always wondered what ever happened to her! This film totally drops the ball with its inept direction by Zimmerman, uninspired story and totally unsympathetic "hero". My grade: D

Im gonna have to give this one a B-, I thought the storyline was pretty original and itb kept me intertained, dennis Christopher played his part very well, the only thing lacking was the usual gore where use to in a slasher flick, but other than that I would say rent it first and if you like it buy it, personally I had to go purchase it. Oh yeah the boz to the movie is one of the best.

It has a young Mickey Rourke in it. That deserves a letter grade improvement on its own.
