THE MANGLER

I just recently saw the unrated version of THE MANGLER and highly enjoyed it. I would like to know what everyone else though of it.

I think this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen. Bad acting, bad writing, not scary and even worse, totally boring. It doesn't even work as a "so bad it's good movie" It's just bad. Also, really bad makeup. I remember Robert Englund's bad makeup in particular.

The film had great cinematography. The picture was extremely crisp and clear. The gore was also very impressive. However, that's where the positive things about The Mangler come to an abrupt halt. For the most part, the acting was laughable. I just don't like Robert Englund that much when he's not Freddy Krueger. Also, the plot was WAY too confusing. All I wanted to see was the demonic machine rip people to shreds and that didn't happen enough. My rating-2/5

i am thinking that this movie was mighty fine entertainment, but absolutly NOT a masterpiece of American cinema. Not in Sam's hell.
