I SIGNED IT! PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING THERE IS SOMETHING ELSE YOU MUST DO!!! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
Whats up with the Friday The 13th DVD'S ? All we get is a damn theatrical trailer if that! No features, no commentary, no bloopers, no cut scenes and you know that the ones that involved effects from Savini were cut all to hell in the final editing process.
Do you want to pay almost thirty or even twenty bucks for just the movie and the trailer, thats it? Part 7 had tons of gore that was edited out and part 3 had an alternate ending. We will never see these extra's because Paramount feels that there is not enough of a demand for the Friday 13th DVD's with extras. I feel there is a demand!
Friday The 13th movies are not the only ones under Paramount being released to DVD without extra's. Many other films are issued without anything extra as well. The guy said if there is not a good quantity of demands for extras they will not put in the money or effort to make them with extras.
See this article about Friday The 13th DVD's and why they are without extra's. http://www.fangoria.com/Partners/Fangoria/Fearful_Features/articles/2141001.htm

Show your support for special-edition FRIDAY DVDs, write to
Martin Blythe at Paramount Home Entertainment, 5555 Melrose Ave., Hollywood, CA 90038-3197.

If all of us who care do not write in, these movies will continue to be released without anything extra at all. Even the released box set coming soon will not have anything extra either. Think of what we are missing out on. Please write in and show your support! Thanks!

These links and information are not only for my benefit, they are for everyone else who wants these things as well!

I didn't know there was an uncut version of this chapter.
well actually I was told that the sleeping bad murder was more gory than it actually is but that's all.

Almost every epsiode of Friday The 13th had to be trimmed down to avoid and X rating.

Friday 1 - The Japanese version in uncut

Friday 2 - Had to have scenes cut, don't know if there is an uncut version.

Friday 3 - IMDB reports the Norwegain version is uncut.

Friday 4 - Again IMDB reports the Norwegain version is uncut.

Friday 5 - Cut to hell and back, don't know if there is an uncut version.

Friday 6 - And Again IMDB reports the Norwegain version is uncut.

Friday 8 - Scenes cut, unknown if alternate version filmed

Friday 9 - Uncut version is available, but I don;t know if it has all of the cut scenes?

Friday 10 - (Shrug)

I think they need to come out with a nice DVD Box set with all of them uncut.

Interesting article, anyways i signed the petition, but I have sugned many of these before. i turle hopw that they do release it some day, but for smoe reason it does not seem that they put horror films, espeacilly Friday the 13th in the same category as their other films. It's really a shamne.
