i saw it and the sequels years back, i kinda liked Munchines, but the sequel(which i cant remeber) sucked, and i saw it when i was a kid, i loved every movie as a kid. D:

Isnt this the one where this fat guy is like a junk food king and he has a real ditz for a wife she is like a cross between Dolly Parton and Tammy Faye Baker? Big Hair, Pink clothes? She had like a son named axel or dude or something and he was jamming out to some records and he started beating up this munchie and they like killed him? I think this is the movie you are talking about. It is not your best movie but I found some parts of it funny.

Dude, "Munchies" was the coolest movie....when I was like 7 years old! I even liked it more than "Gremlins" (I was too young to realize that it was just a "Gremlins" rip-off). I remember it starts off with the explorer finding the first Munchie (who is good and cuddly, like Gizmo). But then when you kill these things,two more pop out in it`s place. Not a bad idea. Oh, and if you electrocute them, they turn into statues. I guess one major difference between this and "Gremlins" (despite the obvious budget/quality of effects), is that the "good" creature gets killed in "Munchies" (that`s how the bad ones are born). Dude I totally forgot about this cheeseball childhood favorite, thanks for bringing back some memories! I never saw either of the sequels, but I hear they were pretty much family-friendly kiddie movies.
