First of all, I would like to say this is my first post to any joblo/arrow message board. I have posted on various other horror boards, and I look forward to some good discussions on this one!

How many of you miss Joe Bob on TNT's Monstervsion? I sure do and even though the movies sometimes sucked, joe bob himself made staying up on Saturday nights worthwhile.

I recently dropped Joe Bob an email through his web site. He basically said TNT fired him and there will never be another Monstervision. However, he is working on a similar show! Good news; we will see what comes out of that.

I too miss MonsterVision. I still can't figure out why Joe Bob was fired. Sometimes, he was the only reason to watch that show. What in the hell was TNT thinking? BTW: Welcome to the boards!

He was probally fired because he went against that asshole Ted Turners beliefs or some shit like that? Didnt the dude turn weirdo or something? Then a few months after no monster vison the old fucker leaves tnt I think so who knows? Hopefully Joebob will be back with another show cause god knows we need it, Saturday Nights suck! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I loved Monstervision! Joe Bob always passed along cool little facts and tid-bits about the obscure flicks that were playing. There would always be info on the obscure actors and actresses... That's actually where I heard that Simon Scuddamore (the guy who played Marty in Slaughter High) had killed himself shortly after the making of Slaughter High. Anyway.. I always looked forward to what Joe Bob had to say when going to, or coming back from the commercials.

I hope something like this comes along again... geeks likes me need something on those lonely Saturday nights.

I loved watching Joe Bob, it was the only thing worth watching on TNT.

I loved that show. Always worthwhile to watch. I learned quite a bit. And when I stopped getting cable, we got it back about a year later and the show was gone. I always wondered what happened, now I do, thanks. Why would they fire him for that, stupid.

*plus, what do you mean by he got weird?

Joe Bob's Drive In Theater on The Movie Channel was much better than monster vision. There was never a breast count on TNT.

I'd love to get some videos of Joe Bob's TCM Drive-in theater. Have not seen any on Ebay, though...
