Ticks-
I saw this a few years ago and still remember it to this day. It stars Seth Green,Alfonso Ribero,Amy Dolenz and a lot of other unknowns.. Pretty good movie, with a kick ass ending..
I forget the name to this cheese flick, but it starred Randy Quaid as an over the top former general in the Army turned Bug Exterminator. Pretty good laughs out of it, also starring James Doohan and the Chinese guy off of Star Trek.. Love this movie, really laughed my ass off as well as enjoyed the bug action..
Mosquitoes-
kicked ass. Great cheese flick as well. One of the very few movies where *SPOILER* the black guy lives. LOL

THE NEST (1987) is quite a fun bug movie too. Mutated cock roaches are coming for you... (6/10)
I would call this a ripoff of MIMIC if MIMIC wasn't made 10 years after THE NEST.

And I love the last story in Creepshow which featured a ton of cockroaches bursting out of a guy's mouth and chest. Now that's entertainment!

Thank you man, I was wondering if someone was going to say Phenomena! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif
I also liked Ticks and Ants! and the last segment of Creepshow hehehe roaches are cool! Lets see is a slug a bug? Slugs is a kooky movie but I dig it! Skeeter sucked but thats a bug flick http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif Silence of the Lambs man those moths were cool! What was that flick with all the locusts? That was cool. Maggots are like a bug. There is a segment in that Willies movie where this fat kid collects flys and he wakes up in a bed full of maggots! Shoot I know there is more but this is all I could think of! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

Ticks wasn't bad. A lot of dumb fun in it. Aracniphobia was kind of a disapointment for me but still wasn't bad, Julian Sands is the man.
The maggot scene in Phenomina is one of the most sickening insect scene in any horror movie I have ever seen and that alone gives it credit.
I always thought Mimic was very over-rated but ok.
But who could forget the cockroach story in Creepshow, the best one there. "no more dam bugs."

Yeah I remember that flick The Willies. That kid collected dead flies and pulled the wings off of them. Then he set up a town for these dead flies, he had him all lined up at a bar and what not...lol He put bugs in a cookie and gave it to a girl. If I can remember these giant flies came back and ripped his arms off. Pretty graphic for a PG-13 flick.

Although not really a bug... if I remember correctly, the movie Squirm wasn't all that bad. If you like man-eating worms that is http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Ticks makes Arachnophobia look like a quiet stroll round the zoo. The creature fx are unbelievably brilliant!!!
It's also a novelty to see Alfonso (Carlton from Fresh Prince) Ribeiro as a bad-ass foul-mouthed knife wielding mthrfckr, and Clint Howard suffering one of the most painful strung out deaths imaginable.
