I probaly didn't spell his name right but alot of the board's plays have horror subject matter like murder and rape. what do other people think about that.

Well, I usually don't interpret his plays as anything to do with horror. Murder and rape are horrific, but I don't consider it horror. Though in Hamlet, with Hamlet's father (as a ghost) telling him to kill, it could be remade (in present time, ala Romeo and Juliet or O) as a thriller with horror themes.
