CUT( THE AUSSIE HORROR FLICK)

Last night I rented a independent horror flick from the land of Auss called "Cut" Starring breakfast club alumni Holly Ringwald ( i believe thats her name ) It wasnt that bad of a flick but some things in the film turned me off to it . However one thing that I loved about the movie is the killers mask" the scarman" The mask reminds me of Micheal Myers and Bruiser . The movie is about these film students who wants to finish a project that was cut short with the murder of the director and attempted murder of the lead actress. They get the rights start filming and hell once again has broken loose . I give the movie a C+ I thought it was good not great but not bad neither .
Has others seen this flick ? what did you all think ?

It's a terrible, terrible slasher flick. Yet another in a countless number of unoriginal, terrible slashers. Boring with terrible performances. Plus, about 3,234 movie references. That pissed me off.

I've seen the film (see review) and didn't dig it too much. The blonde chick was hot though and the flick had good gore...BTW CUT is no longer a Current Film so Im moving this thread to Past Horror

It's on par with SCREAM 3, IMO. Means, it sucks ass. 3/10

I own this Aussie flick and I think it was a fairly good film.
They had the balls to use real gore, not like in Scream and the others post - Scream slashers.
It is gory and it has an atmosphere, really.
Of course it is a bit like Freddy but who cares ? this flick is hated and I do not understand why ?

Personally I didn't hate the film. It has a really gnarly set-up but then ruins it by becoming a poor man's version of Wes Craven's New Nightmare. It should've stayed grounded in reality in my humble opinion. Jessican Napier (Rafi) is way hot though and the gore is good. But on a whole it was a let down 4 me.

I hate this film and also think it's worthless shit.
And I've said this before and I'll say it again, that 'twist' ending makes no bleeding sense whatsoever.

THEY DESTROYED THE DAMN REEL. Tell me I'm not imagining it but they did, didn't they.
CUT TO: A packed house at the premiere watching the completed film, which by the way, have we forgotten already was burnt into a twisted pile of melted plastic in the scene directly preceding it.
This reminds me of that other cheating piece of crap "Clown At Midnight" where we are shown in clear-as-crystal close-up the identity of the killer throughout until the final 'revelation' that the killer - by the way - is in fact someone else altogether. Er no, I don't think so. Do you want me to rewind the film and prove it to you, you f^"$"£ f!$%s.
The other reason I grrr DESPISE CUT is because it passes itself off as a whodunnit and for the first two acts has you wasting your time trying to guess the identity of the killer behind the mask before 'revealing' that the killer is actually some wisecracking DEMON. Ha, didn't see that one coming did you? That's because it's COMPLETE and UTTER bullshit.
