Okay, first of all, I payed 30 frigging dollars over E-bay for this puppy. The copy I recieved was horrible quality. I felt like I was watching scrambled porn for crying out loud. However, after watching it I must say that I don't really get all the hype.
Sure, it made much more sense than the original cut, but I still like that one better.
IMO, the style of the sixth one gave the series a breath of fresh air, and I for one enjoyed it. The producers cut uses most of Carpenter's original themes, but for the avid Halloween fan it is obvious that many of them are out of place. It seems like they were just slapped in anywhere and were expected to fit.
So I think that if you took the original style of the theatrical cut, and added the extra dialogue and different ending of Producers cut (to make it make more sense) than you'd have a good movie
