Just thought I'd post a quick review of the tracks I've heard from the CD which hopefully will be released this Tuesday:

1)Sinners Inc, - Opening track, about a minute and a 1/4 long. Weird music and sound bytes pretty cool.

2) Demon Speeding - Took a while to find this one, everyone seemed to confuse it with Demon Speed off of WZ cd Make them Die Slowly. First full track off of the cd and it kicks ass, a bit of an Orchestral feel in it. I love how he can throw horror references throughout his stuff and it works! (In the Mouth of Madness).

3) Dead Girl Superstar - I like it, cool fast moving song complete with the 60's sexploitation sound bits. Also you can download a rather cool Flash video for it.

4) Never Gonna Stop - Again starts out with the standard Zombie byte (I love trying to find what movies they come from). Starts off with an almost pop like sound but moves into references to the White Zombie CD La Sexorcisto/Clockwork Orange. Very much a self anthem, thumbs up!

5) Iron Head - Working with the Ozzy, nuf said.

6) Go to California - Don't know this one is just there. Hey, like the song says "Bump and grind". Are those trumpets I hear?

7) Feel So Numb - This one reminds me very much of Scum of the Earth which was released on the MI:2 soundtrack (Don't hold that against it). Another very cool song, I don't watch videos to often but I like the Patriotic theme in it!

8) Transylvania Transmission - Again Rob is the only one that can probably get away with weird music and sound bytes

9) Bring Her Down - Again with the Orchestra (I like it), most of the reviews said this new CD would be different then past Zombie work, I have to agree.

10) Scum of the Earth - This one is a couple years old, from MI:2. Seems this was already in the format for the new CDs style. Love this song!

11) House of 1000 Corpses - The whole reason for this post! Starts out with sound bytes which I can only assume are from the movie (They are very cool!!!) The lyrics rock, the music is just a very driving beat. I think this could very well be my favorite song off the entire CD.

Sounds like this record is going to ROCK! I'll be checking it out as soon as it's released here.

I'm a pretty big fan of White Zombie, but I just can't get into Rob's solo stuff. It's too dance beat/industrial for my tastes. I find it somewhat difficult to differentiate "Dragula" from "Superbeast" from "Feel so Numb" and so on. Also, where are the guitar solos at? Granted, I haven't listened to every single track off of Hellbilly Deluxe and The Sinister Urge, but the material that I have heard has simply stuck to guttural riffs and plain jane beats. I don't know, I just haven't been too impressed with Mr. Zombie's solo efforts thus far. Don't get me wrong, I still think he's a cool guy. He's the only shock rocker to come out in the past ten years or so that is worthy of carrying on the torch originally lit by Alice and Ozzy. He understands that horror and heavy metal shouldn't be taken too seriously. It's all just for fun. I just wish that White Zombie would get back together. Oh well, at least I have House of 1000 Corpses to look forward to.

His solo stuff is pretty much like "Astro-Creep"....except the songwriting is better.
After "La Sexorcisto", Zombie totally adopted the industrial-metal sound.
P.S. - thanks for the review dude! I can`t wait!
