I own this film!
It was about a sorcerer trying to bring his wife back to life.
he invites a group of people to his haunted house in order to commit sacrifices...
SPOOKIES is a kind of horror patchwork with good effects but bad acting.

Sweet mother of God, is this movie bad! Bad acting, special effects, directing, music, bad everything!
Though I have to admit, it's worth the price of rental just to see the lustful, flatulent mud monsters that can only be killed with wine, yet live in a wine cellar.
Chris, do yourself a favor, and never attempt to view this vile piece of fesces ever again!

I cannot stand this movie!!!! Jesus those sound effects its like a continuous annoying fart sound? What the hell is that? I shudder when I see that damn crappy flick for rent!!!

This movie is truly awful - but I guess it could be fun if you`re totally drunk. It`s actually two different unrelated movies that were edited together.

Some posters might hate my guts, BUT I dug this movie. I really don't think it is as bad as the above posters have slammed it. I thought it had cool monsters and some of the kills were pretty cool. SPOILER Like when the guy gets bitten by that giant spider. END OF SPOILER. I thought the zombies at the end of the film was pretty cool. Sure it dragged at times but I would still rate it about two stars. Cool way to waste an hour and a half. Like when you can't sleep. Stefan's out.

one thing i will say for it, it would have made a good old NES video game. thats what i thought when i saw it anyway
