Well, we rented this movie by accident tonight. It was right beside Steven King's the Night Flyer, which we actually wanted, yet somehow the 2 films had been switched. Anyways. Not bad at all - in terms of creative and unique methods of killing off major characters. Someone gets stabbed with a corn cob(!) and another gets stabbed in the ear w/a pencil. Nice. What I liked best about it is that, in the end, a cat saves the day. We had all 4 of our cats in the room while watching. Awww. Have you guys seen it? What did you think? I got a few good scares actually!

I have this in my collection, and I must confess to enjoying this film on a slightly "cheesy" scale. Alice Krige is brilliant no matter what she does, and it was nice to see Madchen Amick again after enjoying her performance in Twin Peaks. The make-up FX weren't too bad, either.

Did you spot Stephen King making a cameo in the graveyard?

I still get a kick out of Sleepwalkers. I've always loved the song, my band plays it. Brian Krause isn't the most evil guy in the world here, but I liked the graveyard scenes when he starts to chase cute virgin Madchen Amick around. The incest between mother and son is fun to watch, but my favorite scene in this movie is the black cop playing with his cat in his patrol car-"Ha ha Get that motherfucker!" right before the trans-am speeds by. Some cool fx, and yeah, funny SK cameo. Loved his bit in Creepshow.

"Sleepwalk" is an amazing song. I'm a Stephen King fanatic. Read his books,ignore his movies.

I suggest you all go purchase the "Darktower" series.

1. The Gunslinger
2. The Drawing of the Three
3. The Wastelands
4. Wizard and Glass(prequel to The Gunslinger}

These books will change your life...

I agree with The Devil/Kewpie Dollman about Krause. Madchen can Amick me any day too, especially in a graveyard. I want that freaking car too. It rocks in a Starsky & Hutch meets CHIPs meets Jan Micheal-Vincent meets AIRWOLF meets Todd Parker-kind of way.

I've only read part1 of the Gunslinger series. I'm very attracted to the whole premise of these people being in limbo, or in the afterlife; the gothic western stuff always does it for me.
I read The Regulators and Desperation a couple of years ago and absolutely loved them - although I almost had to stop reading them they were so freaky...Rose Madder is another one like that - I get so into it I scare myself!

Is the regulators as good as desperation? could you tell me how they are related without spoliers? Thanks a bunch, I thought desperation ruled! And yes the Dark Tower series kicks ass, I've read 1&2 and am currently reading 3. King rules..
