Cory, I can't really see the point behind this remake. Same script, same choreography, but different cast and crew, I just don't see the value. You seem to really love this movie, and I can definitely understand why you want it to be given more recognition, but I think that I would want a re-release if anything. Also, wasn't the movie originally a TV movie? Are there any TV movies that have ever been remade and released theatrically? Or was Clownhouse just given a limited theatrical run?
Also, even if it would have a different cast and crew, the whole stigma/background of Salva/Winters would still be attatched to it, and that is one of the main issues you think a remake would provide a solution to, and I don't agree. And we don't even know who has the rights. I'd say the chances of this happening are less than 10%, but I still respect your effort/intentions.

I agree with AlienClown. Petitioning for a re-release would make more sense. A remake with the same script and the same everything is kind of pointless. Also, it would never get a wide theatrical release.
