How great is that!

This reminds me of when the original trilogy was out. I had posters for all three and used awful stuff to stick them to my closet doors. Ruined. They'd have been worth bucks now... not to mention just plain old cool to have.

It certainly looks like a Drew Struzans creation - But it's strange that Jango Fett should take pride position like that - He just stands there, not in action, but his pose is still amazing.
Also - Obi Wan never seems to have much of an "action pose" either......that pose is almost identical to that on TPM poster.

I really like the way Anakin and Padme are done.....Brilliant !

Am I the only one that thinks it's a bit dissapointing? First of all, I know its artwork, but a lot of it looks really bad to me. Especially Anakin. This reminds me of that Majestic poster we saw a few months ago.

Wow, this is the first time in my life 2 BIG things Star Wars related have really dissapointed, I didn't dig the trailer that much either. Well, i loved the Episode 1 Trailer and Poster and hated the movie, so hopefully it will be the exact opposite for this film. Oh yeah, and Natalie Portman...real or art, is too freakin' hot.

I think it looks fantastic.

And Jango should feature prominantly as he is the one making the clones.

Great work.

I think it looks AWESOME! The only thing I don't like about it, is that Anakin dosen't look like Hayden.

I can see a running theme that begun with TPM poster - They seem to be going for warm colours - Reds - Significant of danger.

Episodes IV V and VI's posters are more cold, with blues and purples - Significant in the fact that the evil exists in great form. (Although, Episode IV was a warm coloured poster - Which makes sense, cause we hadn't a inkling of how dark things were to come....)

Why the hell dont they just call it Attack of the clones!?!? DROP THE DAMN EPISODE 2! SAME WITH EPISODE 1, IT MAKES THESE THREE LOOK LIKE A DIFFERENT SERIES!

just like episode 1, people are getting to exited saying its gonna be the next new hope... its going to suck just like phantom menece....

well, anyway, as for the poster itself, it looks very good! But Samual L. Jackson looks like Sammy Sosa, he looks like he's up to bat!

That looks absolutely SUPERB. I don't know or care what people say but Drew Struzan is one of the greatest artists out there.

Oh, and by the way, am I the only one to think that Natalie Portman looks FUCKING BEAUTIFUL on that one sheet??? She looks like an adventure heroin or something....sexy! http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

I agree, the use of Episode 1 in the title was OK...just so thick people realised it was the first prequel! But drop the idea now!!...New Hope, Empire and Jedi never had the episode numbers in the original posters, which made them look far better...at least make the episode number the smallest part of the title.

Personaly i think the new poster looks a little too similar to the TPM poster..almost looks like they copy/pasted the newer images in...eg, Obi Wan is in the same place, space craft flying out is in the same place, C3PO & R2 have been flipped onto the other side, Queen Amidala also flipped to other side, Anakin replaces Qui-Gon and Mace replaces Jar Jar...even the lense flare's are almost in the same place! Atleast with the other movies they rearranged the layout and ideas a bit more for each one.

I think its great, but it is odd that Jar Jar isnt on it.In the original trilogy posters the sidekicks(R2,3PO,Chewie)were allways on.I see this as a sign that Lucas has played down Jar Jar a bit,but perhaps cant get rid of him altogether.

Its my suspicio that Jar-Jar is in this film more than GL wants us to believe, so he is very carefully marketing the film to mke it look like Jar-Jar plays a insignificant part. And yes, I honestly believe that. As for the poster; its pretty good. I too, dont like the Episode II title though. Just leave it is AOTC.

I doubt it'll ever happen, but I'm hoping that someday I will read a non-cynical Star Wars related post from you, Dumb-Fokker. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Please don't take that more seriously than it is intended.

Anyway, I think the poster looks great! I too wish the title was more important than Episode II, but I'll survive.

Anakin looks like shit! It seems like he got a really bad tan, or something. But anyway, it's still a great poster, and I can't wait to buy it!

The poster looks great and really helps building up the hype. Those spider like creatures in the back look interesting. I think that Lucas is redeaming himself after Phantom Menace (which wasn't that bad anyway).

I don't really see anything special about the poster....

The thing that is special about the poster is that it says "Star Wars" on it! That's enough for me. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif No, but seriously the special thing about the poster is that reminds me of the original SW posters, they all had kind of a similar design and it really kind of grabbed your attention. The first 3 SW posters are classics and being reminded of a classic doesn't bother in the least bit.

Me neither. Although every time I see it, the word "Titanic" comes to mind...

LOL No, I didn't mean that the posters look alike, I meant that it just reminds me of "Titanic".
