Help me name this movie!!!!!

Theres this movie i saw about 10 years ago and i have no idea what the name of it is or who was in it so please help me because i would like to watch it again. Thanks


This is what i remember:
Its about some myth i think where this guy gets some princess that was cursed into a cave and he takes her and she is not allowed to leave this cave because she was cursed to be there forever and...this monster gaudian thing comes after them to take her back and one scene in the movie they are in a library hiding in the vents.

The only other thing i can tell you is that the monster had these legs where the knees would bend the other way and it had hoves like a horse for feet.

Almost everything except the library vent stuff sounds like the movie Legend. Legend also comes to mind when you say the monster had hooves, that would be Darkness. Only other movie I can think of where the knees bend the other way would be The Arrival, but those are aliens and they don't have hooves.
