great review arrow! and also the show gets A LOT darker in the second half of season 2. I can't wait to see what you think of the second season. IMO it was the best season and the first season was the worst (although still great!)

Nice review, thats how I would have graded it myslef...Season One was the worst season of all....(But this year (Season Six) is giving it a run for it's money...)

I love Buffy The Vampire Slayer and i am glad that Arrow liked it.
Season 1 is a great season but it is not one of the best.

Great review. I have to disagree with those who are saying the 1st season was the worst. Season 5 gave us the worst villain ever, Glory. They tried to make her a "valley girl goddess" or something and it didn't really work. On top of this, Michelle "Can't Act her way out of a paper bag" Trachtenberg was added to the cast, giving the writers an easy plot device for every episode. This actually came up in the recent musical. "Dawn's in trouble? It must be Tuesday." Besides The Body, Season 5 just plained sucked. Nothing will ver hold a candle to Season 2.

Actually i think season 5 is great! I cant decide between season 2 and 5. There both so great.

In season 2 you got:
When She Was Bad.
School Hard (Spikes first episode!).
The Dark Age.
Ted.
Surprise.
Innocence.
Passion.
Killed By Death.
I Only Have Eyes For You.
Becoming parts 1 and 2.
plus the rest of the season, just those ones are the best.

season 5:
Buffy vs. Dracula.
Real Me (just because Harmony is so funny).
The Replacement (2 Xander's = more fun).
Fool For Love.
No Place Like Home.
Into The Woods.
Triangle (also very funny).
Check Point.
Blood Ties.
The Body.
Forever.
The Gift.
pretty much every episode in this season is good too.

4.

The 4th season was ok.

good episodes in season 4:
The Harsh Light Of Day.
Wild At Heart.
Fear, Itself.
Something Blue.
Hush.
This Year's Girl.

Where The Wild Things Are.
New Moon Rising.
The Yoko Factor.
Primeval.
Restless.

but the 4th season had the 2 worst episodes ever:
Superstar and Beer Bad.

I thought that season 1 was a lot better than the last couple if seasons, when the show started to become a soap opera and they started replacing the old characters with crap, irritating and boring characters. It seems like most of the good writing and character stuff emigrated to Angel. The second season has got to the best though.
