Ok I just saw clips from the Matrix two on ET. It showed neo fighting an agent with a staff in what looked like a Mansion Lobby area. The fighting was seriosly fuckin' huge. Wirework to put Jet Li to shame. And also a fight on top of abunch of tables. Neo had a sort of trench coat thing on, only it looked more like part of a Kung fu outfit. That and they hollowed out a shuttle and did nose dives to atain 0 G's so the fights were while floating. I think "reloaded" is going to be fucking sweet. I think I'll prolly piss myself the first time I see the trailer.

Oh and this is what I now about reloaded's plot(!Spoiler!).... Agent Smith is now a separate entity from the Matrix and has started to multiply. The Matrix has its own agents hunting Smith. I mention the silver virus guys, or the twins, as he called them, and he said they were cool to work with. He also said Smith realized that he and Neo were connected somehow. Could smith and Neo some how become allies?

It's gonna be huge man, i have no fear for how this will turn out (with acception of the death of Aaliya and the actress that played the oracle in the first, though some sites say her scenes were shot). Hopefully the flick will be good, it better have some killer effects because even though it originated the bullet time effects everyone uses them now.
So when you see them in the Matrix 2 you will say ah, old hat. So they better pump out some dramatic new sequences.
And it is not a shuttle but a 727 that NASA uses called the Vomit Comit to attain 0G.

Is this Keanu or just some guy named Earl you be the judge.

As an aspiring filmmaker, I truly hope this film is disappointing. I know the effects and fight sequences will be fantastic (I just hope they aren't including anything that's to be in my film-to-be), but if the script and story are as rough and imperfect as the first movie, then I may have nothing to worry about.
I hate competition...

What's not to believe? That is pretty much what I expected. As for the movie, I enjoyed the first one. It was very good. I think the the Washowskijsdafjla brothers are going to have a tough time trying to top it. The special effects better be nothing short of the second coming of christ. (no pun) The build up for this movie has been huge. I have my doubts...

I dont really have too much interest in this film. I liked the first, but its not a movieI loved, or ever will, and I dont plan on seeing the Matrix: Reloaded in theaters. I know the special-effects are great, but the amazing story everyone is always talking about is a load of crap. Sure, the story is good, but if they had went more into story, than into action sequences, tey could have fleshed the story out much more, and made a much better film, because the idea behind the story is intriguing.

The question at this point is, when are those badass fight sequences actually going to hit the big screen? Is there a release date? Have cast members finally stopped dying?

Even though it surprises me every time I say it, I agree with Fokker here once again. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif I thought THE MATRIX was a good action/sci-fi flick, but if you tell me the script was revolutionary, I say bullshit. Even the effects weren't that revolutionary at all.

Ok well I dont know how you can say the special effects werent revolutionary, cause even if the technology existed before hand, they took it and brought it to the mainstream... I mean look at every fukin action movie since they have taken "Bullet-Time" thing and just pillaged an raped it, it has nothing left to offer.

The Matrix 2 will more likly suck just like the first movie.
It's nothing more than a lame ripoff of many Sci-Fi flicks, Terminator being one of them, and puting in some Techno music with dumb action scenes wrapped up in some eye candy.
Plus Reeves sucks and will never look tough in any movie even if he stared opp. of Fiona Apple.

First off, the spelling of "will likly suck"? c'mon decide whether it's licking or sucking, dude! lol. How can one not appreciate some eye candy here and there? The Matrix had a bunch of it, and a tight story to follow it. Keanu Reeves will always be baddass. Did you see the movie "The Watcher"? He is just as good at being evil. And the concept of fate & a force we can't see or feel controlling our lives wasn't meant to be taken so seriously, it's just sci-fi after all. You should enjoy the show these guys put forward to entertain you. I'm sure the sequal will surprise us all.

That's exactly what I was saying. Everything people find so "revolutionary" in THE MATRIX was used like ten thousand times before in all classic Hong Kong flicks. I mean, c'mon, the Wachowski brothers did a good movie, but they didn't invent shit.

Ok so it's not revolutionary. I still think that it is a good flick. It didn't totally suck. The fight scenes were good. The acting was good. Even Keanu did a half way decent good. I am no die hard but I think that you guys are just ripping on it too much.

Lick, suck, blow....in the end it'll all lead to the same thing....a shitty movie.

I actually believe the Matrix was a ground breaking film for a number of reasons. Firstly the fight sequences, while not unique to the film WERE pretty unique to Western Films at the time.
Bullet time - admitedly it's now over used but it was revolutionary at the time, and from what's been seen of bullet time 2 this will be just as ground breaking.
The actual story - under all the action the films actually an exceptionally deep and filled with many different symbols and combining many differnet storys.
Also it's one of the only good films that Keanu Reeves has done http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif.
Btw -> to answer the question Ender put forward. The Matrix Reloaded is released Memorial day 2003, with the Matrix Revolutions being released sometime in November 2003.

I love the matrix folks, it rocked but it does rip things off on a million levels.
The whole lobby scene(Which I love like my mother) is a bigger remake of that bathroom scene True Lies. At least the tile falling off the wall at the end. And when Neo descends in the chopper to blaze out on the agents, that's a mirror image of the jet part in true lies as well.
The trench coats...totally blade.
The double gun action....every woo movie ever(And those guys said they wanted to guns different!)
The bullet time? Hardly new. I saw that many times before. Commercials mainly. The whole green screen deal adds somthing though.
Once again, I love the matrix. But it's a highly influenced film. It just did all the things a bit better that's all.

Wow. This one of those movies I love because I'm constantly surprised by little intricacies that I missed the first or even 2nd time around that really enriched the story. I'd personally have trouble calling the original rough or imperfect. Well, nothing's perfect but in the context that you seem to mean I don't agree.
