Now I've tried to watch all the episodes on HBO and I think this will probably be a good movie. And from what I've heard the story/plot is good. but there were a few problems with the director and the other crew members. and hopefully all the episodes will be on the DVD version of the film when it comes out.

So what do you think about Stolen Summer?

After the chaos on the TV show, I don't see how it's possible for the movie to be good. They rushed through shooting and were consistently forced to use sub-par takes. Unless they finally got their shit together in post-production (which the show mysteriously left out), my expectations are pretty low.

Actually from what i've heard is the shooting of the film did go well and the first-time director was very impressive. The directors of the show choosed to showed the few bad parts(the train scene, the sea scene,on the set confrontations)to keep the people at home entertained. It's also recieved very good reviews at Sundance, so i'm definently interested in seeing it.2 thumbs up from ebert and that other guy.

A Catholic boy tries to convert a dying Jewish friend to prevent him from going to hell. Needless to say, wacky shenanigans ensue. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
