Ok, i've just been to see "15 minutes" in the cinema with my mates. I don't thi any of us were expecting anything great, but we left the cinema feeling really impressed, even AK (a real cynical, critical and nearly always negative bastard) came out with a smile on his face.

We were discussing, is this the 1st movie De Niro has ever died in?
We were so shocked to see this as i can't say ive ever witnessed De Niro dying in a movie before, so i was sitting there thinking how is good ol' bob gonna get out of this one, and to find out that he doesnt was simply genius.

There were two things i didn't like and that was some of the direction, the cinematography wasn't very good, i personally could have seen much better ways things could have been filmed. And also the 1st 15 minutes, i don't know if i hadn't settled or what, but they were very slow, but from there it really picked up.

But also a big up to Edward Burns, what a great actor. He did a great job and really added to the film. De Niro was kinda of carrying the film most of the way, but when he died i was wondering how Edward Burns would cope with the main role but he did brilliantly fair play to him.

Overall ive give the film a 9/10
The direction and 1st 15 minutes losing it 2 points but edward burns gave it 1 point back.

Maybe the film is actually warning you the 1st "15 minutes" are crap!

BRILL MOVIE!!!

I remember him dying in Frankenstein, but that wasn't as shocking as this was. Jackie Brown, he didn't really have a big part in that film, so that wasn't shocking and he was a bad guy in Heat, so that wasn't shocking either.

It was obvious Burnsy was gonna pop one in the bastard at the end, he just decided to empty the whole fucking clip! hahaha
It was genius the way the cameraman in the film (the one that filmed the deaths) died hen found out he was only pretending! that cracked me up!

I really enjoyed this film and the sad thing is that it can easily happen

laws seem to protect the guilty and crazed

I agree there magicman, the film worked and was so good because the whole plot is believeable. Thanx to the whole double jeapordy law, things like this can happen and they can walk free. That whole aspect really made the film qute powerful.
But i have to go with Mr.White, it was obvious Ed Burns was gonna pop the guy in the end it's just not the whole clip stylee!
That was just plain amazing, he really relieved the audiences tension coz he did what we all wanted to do to that annoying twat who killed our De Niro, its just he did it with real style!!!
