People should say if they are sick of the franchise yet, and say if it has been brought to far.

I think this should be the last one and they should find a cool way to kill him off.

Are you kidding? I can't wait for Halloween: Ressurection. I love the Halloween series and I know it's not oscar material but its great entertainment and I'm a slasher movie fan so... kudos to Jason, Michael and Freddy http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

See... they did that already. It was called H20. I thought that was a perfectly satisfactory way to end the series and the character. All this new film's going to get out of me is eye-rolling (and certainly not any money...)

Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge fan of the series; but in all honesty, I think the Halloween movies should have ended after H20 - it ended the series perfectly. For that matter, it should have ended after Halloween II - that ended the series perfectly too...

I agree with most of the folks that have alreay responded. Halloween has gone on too long. I am a fan of suspense and even though I really dont get into slasher films...Halloween is the one that makes my hair stand up on my back. So, in a way i am interested in seeing Halloween:Resurrection....but H2O should have be the closing chapter...we all know if the killer or "the shape" as the script calls him, isnt Michael Myers it will be so lame....but Mikey got his head handed to him in H2O. The thing that makes Halloween just a little bit better than the average like Friday the 13th...alot of times Michael was never killed in the end of the movies...he survives, be it barely, to wreck more havok. Whereas Jason gets killed and killed again in every one of his movies but manages to come back. That put Halloween in a better class, but after the boy got his head wacked...how the hell do you make it believable or better than the 13th series?

The first "Halloween" should have been the last.

That's exactly what I was going to say.

Actually, in my honest opinion, Halloween should definately be put to bed without a finale... Halloween H20 did it for me.

Halloween was a great series, and it would be nicer to just restart a new series like it... but then it gets written off as a 'copycat' movie... so we have a catch-22 here... guh... so yea, I guess Halloween should just be over then.

HAlloween 2 should have been the last. But as long as the studios can make money by not doing anything original I think there will be Halloween sequels when I'm old and gray.

While this is an Upcoming Movie, I think this topic fits better under the Upcoming Horror section, so I'm going to transfer over yonder....
