And what about those Mummy fans? Good news is on the way. James Jacks, producer, contacted Arnold a few weeks ago to discuss the possibility of starting filming on "The Mummy 3" next summer. This will fit nicely with Arnold's new television schedule. Stephen Sommers will likely be writing the film, but whether or not he will direct is unknown. Other cast isn't known at this point. Arnold has 'heard' that Brendan Fraser might be interested in returning as well.

Talk about trying to squeeze every last penny out of an already tired "franchise." The first one was a great popcorn adventure flick. The second one was an utterly ridiculous piece of trash. The Scorpion King will be lower than dog feces. And the Mummy 3? Uhm...what's lower than dog feces?

Good! I'm open to another Mummy movie as long as Brenden Fraiser returns. I loved the first two, they were both fun, action-packed, "popcorn" flicks that I enjoyed. Despite the mediorce acting, bad dialoge, and predictable storyline I was still able to enjoy both films because the entertainment was enough to make up for all the bad points. Bring on The Mummy 3! I'm ready!

the first one was good ( i enjoyed it ).....
The second was F****in bad , with the Scorpian king cgi at the end looked like a pokemon cartoon........

I loved the first one, and I'm among the minority that enjoyed the second one. (Do not have high hopes for The Scorpion King, though) I think a third one could be pretty cool, as long as they keep the cast (of good guys) from the first two.

I loved the first film, and the second one kicked major ass. And I'm not sick of the series. So yeah, bring on another one!

First one - good
2nd one - awful
Scorpion king - will be worse
3rd one - will it follow the pattern?
