1. This teen killed this old woman and then starts seeing her black cat everywhere (she was a witch. It drives him nuts, and at the end the cat is under his bed and he reaches down to grab it and the old woman is under the bed too. She pulls him under and kills him and at the very end his mother is yelling for him and says "What's wrong, does the cat have your toungue?"

2. This creepy guy moves to town and these 2 teen girls think that he is a vampire because you never see him in the day, there are a large number of bats in the area, and a few people have gone missing. They break into his house and get caught by the guy of course, one girl flees and the other one can't get away. She asks him if he is a vampire and he laughs and says of course not, the whole time you can see the full moon rising in the backgraound. He then says, "But I'm a werewolf!" Tee-hee!! This was the best one of all the episodes!

3. A abusive man buys his kid a bunch of toy soldiers who come to life and kill the shit out of him.

ANyway, I loved this show! ANyone else remember it or know if any of the eps are on video?

Although I don't remember the episodes as vividly as you do, I do remember the host, future Oscar-winner James Coburn (AFFLICTION), and his creepy voice during the intros. I loved this series during its short run (Friday late nights on ABC).

I remember those episodes (missed the werefolf one). James Cobern (sp?) was a perfect host for it. I will never understand why ABC cancelled it. I remember a couple of others.

********** Spoiler ********************

Man makes a deal with a voodoo preistest but then they have a falling out. He kills her but leaves the voodoo doll of himself behind. He thinks things are ok till the end when the guy screaming and writhing in pain. Then it cuts to a scene of the woman`s dog shaking the man`s voodoo doll around in its jaws just before it begins to bury it.

There was the one about the an actor who owed a lot of money to a loan shark. While he is trying to pawn some stuff he finds an old stage makeup kit takes it. He gets an audition call to play a bad ass. He worried about getting the part so he starts using the makeup in the case. He starts to getting larger then it cuts to him looking like a large bad ass type doing his audition and getting the part. I think he usess it a few more times before the loan shark`s men bust into his place and start to beat him up. He tries to reach the makeup case but they throw it then him out the window. They go down to the alley to collect his body but cant find him. Both men start getting knoked around by somthing unseen unitll they are knocked out. The makeup case rises out of a dumpster and whisks off around the corner. The camera pans around the then zooms in on the cover of one of the cans of makeup lying on the ground. Writen on the lable "Invisible Man 1933".

There was a weak one about a man who was a spoiled brat of a millioner. He and his sister just got there inheritance. She got the money and the buisness and only got the house and what he considered to be a small allowance to live on. Later he invites her back to the house where she finds that it is empty except for him a couple of cases of wine and a chair in front of a roaring fire. He tells her that if she dose not give up half the money and business he will burn the list of people he sold it to. As they start talking he pulls a bottle of wine out of one the caeses opens it up and poors himself a glass. He talks about how he bought the wine with money from the sale from some rare and exotic wine broker and that it came with some certificat in french that he could not read. She picks up the certifacte and stars to read it as he takes a swallow of wine. She is reading when a look of shock comes on her face. She screams out "Don`t drink the wine!". He turns arond chokeing and then keels over dead. I think that the wine was from the Borjah (I dont know how to spell it) family. They were a midevil or renissance family that was know to poison anybody that got in their way and anybody they were paid to kill. Ironicly, they litteraly got a dose of their own medican in the end when they were poisoned to death. Come to think of their story would make a good hooror movie, with the right tweaks of course. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

The only other one I can remember is one about couple in the 1700`s or 1800`s. The man was sentenced to death, but they have a plan. On the day of the exceution she kills the executioner. Apperntly only the specified executioner is allowed to pull the lever on the guiletione and if it does not happen when it is supposed to the sentance is waved (I missed the begining so I dont know why the just could not delay the execution untill they could get another executioner). The man has his head in the guiltine and the time of his execution came up when the executioner staggers onto the street. He crawls to the platform to try to do the execution but finally dies. All this while the man and woman are yelling out "Only the executioner can pull the lever!". One of the officers goes to pull the lever but is ordered back. An officer checks the guy`s pulse looks a another officer and tells him that the executioner is dead. He lets go of the executioner`s arm, which falls on the lever. Tight zoom on the woman as we hear the blade come down and she screams.

There was one I missed about a guy who shrank himself. I remember the preview for it seeing the guy trying to doge a dropped match stick (about the relitive size of a telephone pole). I would like to know what happend to that guy.

It was a good series. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
