I'm talking about the one directed by William Friedkin (The Exorcist). Has anyone seen this? If so, is it at all gory?

Thanks!

Matt

I really like this movie.Camilla(Jenny Seagrove) is really hot and a great psycho. Cool accent too. Suprisingly it is gory. There's a decapitation, tree attacks, wolf bites and a great finale. You should defenitley see this movie. It's a classic.

It's not too great but I love it cause I used to watch it all the time as a child

The Guardian is like a supernatural version of Hand that rocks the cradle. I prefer the latter though and found this quite boring in parts.
The screenplay is by Stephen Volk and the story is okay but Blatty's flat direction kinda ruins it. However the film does have quite a unique stylish feel to it but the characters are a bit boring. Well worth watching though.

It's an ok movie, probably not one I'd add to my collection though.

FYI there are two versions, the usually play the alternate (non theatrical) version on USA or TNT.
