Along Came a Spider 6/10

I saw this earlier today, one because i kinda dug Kiss the Girls and i have it, and two Morgan Freeman is one of my favorite actors and he has this detective character down cold! I liked the movie marginally...The beginning was really cool with the car chase scene...and i liked most of the characters throughout the movie...last 20 minutes seem pretty ridiculous with the plot twists which defied alot of logic...plus they killed off the most interesting character in the middle of it...the main reason i liked this movie a little is of Morgan Freeman, nobody plays the pyschologist/detective and says these ol detective lines better"he's turned this into a game, he's methodical, exacting, patient etc..." hehe anyway...it was worth it, just wondering what others thought?

Well, it wasn't as nearly as bad as I thought it would be, and it was watchable, and the score was heartpounding at times, but I thought it had alot of problems. I thought it was cliched, pointless, contrived, confusing, and there were alot of times where you were left scratching your head because you had no idea why people were doing what. and while some parts were almost adreneline rushing and suspenseful, it would also at times just stop
into long stretches where almost nothing happens.

I mean the plot looked like it was all over the place. it looked like it tried to be another "In the Line of Fire" through most of the movie, but ended up being a ripoff of it.

I DID like the plot twists though.

overall, I too give it around a 6/10.
