I absolutly love Jamie Lee Curtis. She and Neve Campbell are my fave actreses of al time. But a lot of people have mixed feelings on these lovely ladies. My drama teacher thinks JLC is a try hard and her performance in True Lies was over the top and too dramatic. Also I find that a lot of people at my school hate Neve Campbell. Guys think she's ugly and the gals say she cant act!

I love them both.

JLC has gotten much better with her acting. When she first started out, Halloween being the exception, she did kinda have some bad b-movie acting going on. I mean hey, that disco-dancing rehearsal by herself on the prom dance floor right when she almost got into a cat fight with her archnemesis in the movie Prom Night? That WAS kinda bad.

But she was really gotten great over years.
I thought she was GREAT in True Lies!! I can't believe someone said it was over the top!! But she did do some bad roles in the mid-80s.

Ohmygod, I almost forgot about that piece of crap Perfect with John Travolta!!! Has anyne seen this???? It was sooooo bad!!!

Jamie Lee Curtis was, of course, terrific in Halloween.
I'm happy, though, that's she's been successful in other kind of films such as True Lies, A Fish Called Wanda, Forever Young, & The Tailor of Panama.
Hopefully, Neve Campbell will find similar success(Wild Things notwithstanding of course), because her post-Scream work thus far(54, Three to Tango, Drowning Mona) has been less than stellar.

I love Jamie Lee Curtis, and she was excellent not only in HALLOWEEN, but also in all of her other early horror roles: PROM NIGHT, TERROR TRAIN, THE FOG and especially ROAD GAMES.

She has also proven herself as a major talent in other genres: comedy (A FISH CALLED WANDA); action (TRUE LIES); drama (MY GIRL); and romance (LOVE LETTERS).

A very underrated actress who still has an enormous amount of sex appeal even at 43!

I'm not much of a Jamie Lee Curtis fan. I don't see the big thing about her. Okay, granted, she can act, but I don't think her acting alone can carry a movie.

Neve Campbell... what can I say, I'm a big fan. She was great in "Scream 3" (in fact I think she saved that movie in many ways). She's a very good actress, and she certainly ain't ugly. She just has quite big front teeth http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

Jamie Lee is one of my favorite actresses. I think she's very underrated as an actress. I've loved everything I've ever seen her in.

She was certainly the best actress in Halloween, except for the line "the keeeeez, the keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez!!!" (translation: "The keys, the keys")
