from movieheadlines.net

"Despite the fact the first one tanked at the box office, a sequel to "Hollow Man" looks like going ahead.

Belgian's Cinopsis Le Magazine reports that Verhoeven may exec.produce. It's believed that both "Kevin Bacon and Elisabeth Shue won't be returning, but Brolin (Josh) will take the lead, with a new character coming in played by Tom Welling, of TV's Smallville."

Personally, I think this idea is bull**** - who wants to see Hollow Man 2 anyway?

the first one was terrible. I was looking forward to it and it let me down. Obviliously Kevan Bacon won't be coming back because he's dead, but you never know in sequels. If you ask me, it's just a waste of time and money.

I liked the first one a lot, but making a second one is really unnecessary. Bacon's character is dead, the lab is buried, Shue and Brolin survived, period.

I agree with the majority here. The first Hollow Man wasn't so good, and a sequel is completely unnecessary.

I thought the first one was pretty good. About a 6/10 or 7/10. But a sequel is totally unnecessary, as Colin as already said.

you are kidding me aren't you? I can't believe they are making a sequel to this!

Gads. Somewhere there's a production company looking for a big fat write-off. Hollow Man 2 can't help but tank. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/wink.gif

I'll be filing this under Upcoming Movies I don't give a flying shit about. Talk about an unnecessary sequel! I don't think anyone was really asking for the first one, but a second one from that J.Crew catelogue model wannabe Tom Welling should be even worse! And to think of all the good movies that won't be made because this one is.
