I'm thinking about catching the midnight showing of ALONG CAME A SPIDER tonight, but the problem is that, while I can stay awake for hours on this computer, I seem to pretty much have trouble staying awake when watching movies late at night.
so, if anybody's seen it, is it any good ? and would it be enough to keep me awake if I see it at midnight tonight ?

I was disappointed. The best part of this movie was the carcrash in the first few minutes and the somewhat corny twists.
Hey, if there is nothing better to see, go ahead you might have a different opinion.

It got "two thumbs down" from Roeper & Ebert ... so I'd stay away from it.
I'm not saying they're alway right, but still ...

Well, critics and the rest of us moviegoers are entitled to our own opinions. Sure, Ebert has give good reviews to crap movies, and vice versa, but to be fair to him, even the EW critic gave this movie a good review as well.
Heck, I'll admit I laughed out loud through pieces of crud movies like DEUCE BIGELOW: MALE GIGELOW, JINGLE ALL THE WAY, & a few other comedies that were supposed to be really stupid & unfunny.
so hey, Ebert is definitely not the only one who may seem 'weird'.

what were they thinking!? save your money on this one it's not even worth it to see Morgan Freeman in action. Too many unbelievable plot twists.
