What happens at the end of Pitch Black? (Spoilers)

I thought that Riddick stabbed the woman so that the aliens would take her and leave him because when she picks him up he's got a knife in his hand and she freezes before the alien takes her, but when I spoke to my mate about it he said he thought that the alien just takes her. Does anyone know what actually happens or is it one of those make up your own mind endings?

Your buddy's right. When Riddick picks her up, she gets grabbed by the aliens and dragged away. Riddick has the knife because he was fighting off the aliens earlier. Hope this helps.

It looks that way at first, but if you listen to what Riddick says, "not for me, not for me" . He is refering to the conversation he had with Carolyn when he wanted to leave the planet without the other two survivors. He asked if she was willing to die for them, and she answered she would.


Also his conversation in the ship before they leave give you the impression that at least a "part of him has rejoined the human race". So to answer your question, the alien took her.

This film was a really good surprise to me, I did not expect it to be as good as it actually is !!
Don't forget that Riddick is a killer, so.
Although I don't think he killed the final blond girl.

Definitely, he did'nt kill her, the alien did. Also, I can't wait for the sequal, titled The Chronicles of Riddick, set to release in the summer of 2003.
