He's doing a roadshow and writing a new book. He's still a critc and he still kicks extreme ass. Now stop asking stupid questions.

he has a website:
www.joebobbriggs.com (http://www.joebobbriggs.com)
that man knows his F'ing B-movies.
Although I've never heard of him until about last year, and I have no idea about the actual show..I'm a youngen, so I probably missed it by about ten years..
was it any good? What was it like?

Good? Joe Bob is fukcin awesome. He had a late night show on Saturday nights i think where he would show great horror films and reviewed them and gave his ratings for them in his book of blood. When coming back from commercials he would give interesting tidbits of information on the cast, crew, and production of the movie. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I love Joe Bob! He was my favorite part of Saturday nights 6 or so years ago. Lets send a petition to TNT telling them to bring him back!

I use to love that show and it sucked at the end how they started to screw him over.Making him show movies like Love Potion No. 9 and Look Who's Talking Too.

He was funnier on his Movie Channel, the TNT version pales in comparison

I miss Joe Bob dearly. I remember the good ol' days when there was actually decent programming on Saturday nights. Even if the film shown was terrible, I'd check it out anyway. Joe Bob's comments were more than enough to keep me entertained.

Im only 17, and I remember his show, so you dont have to be old to remember him. My memories of his shows are fond ones. Cheesy horror at 12 o` clock, and stupid jokes made by a guy in cowboy boots and a cheap set in the backround to boot. I liked how he would always be talking to the crew members while they were filming. It did suck when they started making him do shows other than horror. ........bastards..........

-no problem gorrysnoopy.
and dumb-fokker, I just turned fifteen,
and I'm Canadian. I have never heard of the show at all, (let alone the channel!!) before this site... http://www.joblo.com/ubb/frown.gif the only good movie Channel I've ever had for horror is the space Channel...and I dont know if you Schmoes have ever seen it....but it really sucks!! I think the last horror movie I watched on that thing was the sequal to Rosemary's Baby....

He's also been on Comedy Central's Daily Show under his real name John Bloom. He's the correspondant who does the segments on those nutty preachers on basic cable.

No one here has seemed to mention the name of the show, which of course was Monstervision. Without that show I never would have seen such classics as Motel Hell, Duel, From Beyond, People Under The Stairs, and too many others to name. I loved how the viewer mail he read was always from prison inmates. (I also loved that mail girl. Yum.)
