The Fast and The Furious 2 is going to be a very popular movie. But I don't know if it will be as popular as the first one. The movie is going to have the same actors and will probalbly top the box office for a few weeks.

Scarface is right. I didn't hate the first one (I gave it a 5/10), but I certainly didn't think it was that good. I doubt a sequel would score anywhere above a 4/10 with me...

The sudden ending to the first movie planted the seed in my head a long time ago that there would be a sequal -- but, even though I *did* think the first one was badass, what else is there to cover? One movie was sufficient, I think a sequal won't do much more than beat a dead horse.

well, i thought that the ending to the first one was kind of like Point Break, except no huge wave. So whats the premise to the second one, some more robberies with Vin Diesel beating everyone up?

we,, the Crow (8/10) was badass, but they made a sequel for that. so that means any movie can have a sequel nowadays

I had no idea there was a second coming. I agree with The1TrueFrog however. The ending of the first did plant the seed. I am totally excited for it howerver. Sorry guys. I gave the first a 9/10.

F&F was an awful movie, the second one is going to be worse and will probably make even more money. Saw some pics of the new cars they are using and they are even cheesier than the first F&F (Supra aside).

I thought The Fast and the Furious was a very enjoyable popcorn flick, but a sequel? I know the ending left it open for one, but what could they possibly do with it? But hell, I'd go see it anyway.

Dudes F&F was Point Break!

I would dig up my old post but I just don't want ot spend the time, look under current movies for the F&F topic there I point out that it is Point Break.

But that aside there will be a sequel and it will most likely be about him racing in Baja, as the clip at the end of the movie showed.

And of all the crappy sequels they have made in the past at least F&F was fun to watch.
