Arrow's Interviews w/ Milla Jovovich & Michelle Rodriguez

OH man I am so glad that JoBlo & Arrow are doing video interview.Hopefilly, it will fill the void that 13th Street left, which is being shut.

That being said the first two interviews rocked. They didn't feel like the typical television interview with the unecessary trappings (lighting, background, etc.), just a chair, the interviewee and the interviewer.

I especially liked the interviews for two reasons. One they completely reversed my expectations of what I pictured the interview to be. I mean, Milla Jovovich's personality and appearance (tough military gear, badass, sarcastic, low maintenance hair and makeup) were what I thought Michelle Rodriguez would be like, while Michelle's personality and appearance (chick leather jacket & jeans, high maintenance makeup & hair, although still very much the badass) were how I thought Milla would be like. Two, the interviews were well thought out and long enough to make us froth at the mouth for the film being promoted. Kudos to you guys, you did great with those two! What do you schmoes think?

Anyways, I liked Milla's interview, it really changed how I look at her as a person and not an actress. Michelle on the other hand made a total ass out of herself IMHO. I mean, can the dumb bitch even talk?!?! She is an actress and she has to studder and use "um" and "like" every other word! Am I the only one who got annoyed with that? Bad PR in my opinion. I wonder how she even read her lines. Maybe she was just nervous though, can be stressful I guess. Maybe Arrow can say whether or not she was kinda just braindead or if she was nervous. I thought that the video interviews were really cool. It gave that third dimension that can't really be seen on the transcript. (In fact, when I read through the transcript for the first time, I thought that their replies were a bit too scatterbrained).

I dont really cruise the horror boards a lot, but I just wanted to see that these video interviews were incredibly well done...good job Arrow.

On a side note...who thought Michelle Rodriguez looked "as high as a kite" during the interviews? Based on her demeanor, her eyes, and her responses, I thought it was obvious..but also really entertaining. Funny shit..
