This is my lame attempt at a DAREDEVIL teaser poster. I'm no Picasso and my Photoshop skills aren't much but this is what I came up with during lunch today. Thought I'd toss it out there so let me know what you guys think. If you hate it, feel free to bash it relentlessly...

I don't think that would excite anyone who doesn't know what Daredevil is about.

yeah, but it'd probably be a cool ad for the back of the comic book or somethin'...

Wow, that is some cool work! But yeah, it probably wouldn't appeal to newcomers to the Daredevil universe, but comic book fans would go ga-ga over it!

Wow, thanks guys. Yeah I agree with the notion that non-comic-fans would have no idea what this is for. But with limited resources and skills, it's the best I could do. The only part I actually liked was using the DD as the 00 in 2003. I tried making one for THE HULK as well but it was too damn tough. Couldn't come up with a concept...

Like they said I have no clue what Daredevil is about, and after looking at your poster I still don't. But it looks great even though I dont know what it's about.
Dude! That is awesome! Can I please put it on my site?
Man! I like it ALOT! it looks it came up from the studio, and it will intrigue many who don't know what Daredeavil is, that most probably after seeing the poster will search for the movie to know what's about... Try to sell it or something http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I Like your DD in the date too. That will be good until Daredevil 3 and then you will have to think of something else. What do you think of my posters. Check these out. http://photos.yahoo.com/bpturnerus
Joey and Reed you guys both rock. Those Posters are all sweet http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif
SubMethod, Daredevil is a man who's physically blind but possesses a sort of sight based on heartbeats, sounds and movements. He fights crime by day as a lawyer and by night as a costumed hero http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Personally I think that is the coolest Teaser I have ever seen. I think that should be the offical teaser. I mean If I saw that poster at the theater my interest would be peaked. But of course my opinon is one sided seeing as how I'm a die hard comic book/Kevin Smith fan. But still I think that the poster would be a very good teaser. I mean Ben's name on it alone is enough to arouse interest in just about everyone. Keep up the good work Joe!

For a teaser, the concept is nice and simple.
I'm not sure if the studios would go for smashing the stars names together like that.
Put a border around it so we can get the true effect of the design.
Also, I'm curious about seeing a version without the blurry letters.

That is an awesome teaser poster for Daredevil. I don't know much about the movie but it did spark an interest. Very creative!

The reason I blurred the letters was for two reasons: One to make the word DAREDEVIL easier to read. Second, to come across with a thing like while for most people those letters at the bottom get blurry, DAREDEVIL doesn't need to see and his letters stay clear. SOmething like that. But I might add the border to show some contrast. I do agree that I highly doubt the studio would go for something like this. Too experimental..

Joey Baloney: Very good job! Very very very very COOL! I think you have a gift-YES YOU DO!- make more of those teaser-posters!
Reed Richards: The second spidey teaser is RIDICULUS, in a way funny too! The daredevil posters are good but Joey's Poster is way COOLER! Your spidey poster (#1) is the best though!

A great poster. I wish the "real" ones would be more like that one.

Wow, thanks everyone! I really didn't think people would dig it this much. Our own JoBlo didn't care much for the design. But that's really cool of everyone to pass along their kind words. Maybe I'll work on another one soon!...

OK, we've gotten some feedback on our posters and that's what we came to do. But these topics have played themself out and I'm going to close them down. If you're curious about them, feel free to e-mail at scoops@joblo.com and we can talk and whatever. But let's close this public forum and move on...
