It was made for T.V., and yes I liked it a lot.

Total shite fx aside I really liked this film. Thought it was very suspenseful and creepy.

First it wasn't one of Kings best books and it was definately one of his worst films <next to sleepwalker and tommyknockers>. They should have done a different novella from Four Past Midnight like the Library Police Man <that was a creepy book!>, but that could never be made for TV.

I thought it sucked pretty friggen hard. Which is a shame, because the novella itself is very good. It is original, intriguing, and kept me guessing what that damn noise was right until the end. Read the novella if you haven't...that piece of shite movie doesn't even BEGIN to do it justice. And why did David Morse pick this movie?? He's very underrated, and shouldn't have been involved with that project. He must like Stephen King though...he's been in like 3 or 4 of his movies (Green Mile, Hearts in Atlantis, and Langoliers is about it i think.)

The movie was good and damn suspenseful until they shown the langoliers....and a note to some people:THOSE COMPUTER EFFECTS WERE GREAT! Sure, fake, whatever, but were the crap-clay effects on Evildead 1 and 2 good? Those plane shots were nice....although the langoliers were basically critters with huge mouths, and no legs and arms, and spinning, razor teeth....horrible....so was the earth....
