What do you think about this tv serie from the 90's ?
I thought X - Files was somber but this serie is even darker and more somber than X - Files.
It is gloomy and atmospheric.
There is a really no - more - hope feeling throughout the episodes, impressive.

I thought this was one of the darkest and greatest potential ever for a tv series. But ,sadly, after the 2nd season , it just nose dived. However, it offered some of the creepiest and most atmospheric stuff on tv. And I'll say it again as I have many times in past, Lance Henrickson is god.

Millennium was one of the most intelligent and dark series ever to come out of America. I loved the X-files (and still do) but when Millennium came out, this was the series I had been waiting my whole life for! (OK, a little dramatic maybe, but it was one of the few shows that I actually revolved my life around in order to catch every single episode of Seasons 1 and 2.
Lance Henrickson's portrayl of Frank Black was perfect, and the supporting cast, particularly in the 2nd Season were superb (particulary Terry O'Quinn as Peter Watts).
The first season, while occasionally falling into the 'serial killer of the week' trap, produced 22 solid episodes and one hell of a cliffhanger! The second season was even better, racing towards a cliffhanger so bleak and devoid of hope that I honestly think it was just too much for the network (and maybe some of the audience). I loved it though!
I haven't seen any of season 3 yet (they've only just started showing it on the Sci-Fi channel here in the UK, but from what I've read, it seems as though it took a nosedive into X-files territory (which is not to knock the X-files, which as I've already said I love too, but is a very different proposition to Millennium).
I've been lucky enough to get hold of a Japanese DVD box set of Season 1 (well 20 of the 22 episodes anyway) so at last I'm reliving one of the finest shows to grace our screens, ever!) I'm hoping though that Fox will give it the full 'X-files' type box set treatment.
In short - a fantastic, and sorely missed, series.

Its was atmospheric but it was also damn predictable.
Was it just me or did lance somewhere along the line of that series go totally grey all of a sudden.
I watched the first few episodes then didnt watch it again for a year or so and he looked so different,

MILLENNIUM was one of my favorite horror-themed television series of all-time. Very scary, atmospheric and complex. Lance Henriksen rules!

Actually, Lance was long grey before the series started. They asked him to dye his hair and Lance, being a professional, complied. After the 2nd season, they let him go back to his grey self.
shit, the man could have a mohawk and I would still be jello in his hands.
