Hey, since the Rock is going to be in "The Scorpion King" (snicker...the Rock in a leading role)which other wrestlers do you think would be good starring in a horror film?

How about:

HHH-I could see him kicking the hell out of Jason!
The Undertaker-WOuld RULE as a horror villain, as long as he used his old satantic gimmick and not the cheesy ass redneck biker thing he has been doing the past 2 years
Kane-Slap an axe in this fucker's hand and let him go!
All I can think of right off...

I agree with Kane. I'd also say Perry Saturn. That dudes crazy. Especially when he used to wear that dress. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Raven, Kevin Nash, Kane, Undertaker, Brock Lenser (the man has NO neck), and Scott Stiner (another non-neck person).

I wanna see Stone Cold in a made for Lifetime movie. That may sound bad at first but just think about it, all it would be is him getting drunk and smacking his wife cause dinner isn't ready. Then she either shoots him or she gets hit by a car and goes into a coma. It would be an instant classic.

SOme others to consider:

Mick Foley the king of hardcore

Stephene Mcmahon would be a great victem for any slasher

I think Vade from around 1994 would be a great killer. Especially with that huge mask he wore on the way to the ring.

Kane would be a good killer as well.

Scott Steiner would make a good psychopath.

Perry Saturn from back in his WCW days when he wore a dress would've been great in a Cherry Fallis-ish movie. That was also before he became a real crappy wrestler, his best was in ECW, then WCW, now he sucks in WWF.

Jimmy Snuka and a few of those somoan guys would be good for a cannibal movie.

Shane Helms should've been in NOES: The Dream Masters, and turned into The Hurricane in his dreams.

Jeff Hardy would be a good "victom number x" in a movie... Or a stunt double, just because I think he wouldn't think twice about being thrown off a roof or something.

The Legion of Doom would've been good in a killer biker/killer foot ball team movie... Ya know, with the spikey shoulder pads and all.

Raven (one of my fav wrestlers of all time) would be a great killer in a film like Seven. Or he would make a decent biker, homeless guy, or a maniac that escaped from an insane asylum.

Albert would be a good biker, trucker, or a guy like the killer in Strangeland. He really does tatoos and has a lot of piercings.

Al Snow would make a good lunatic. Remember the Head? Well I can see him carrying around real human heads. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

The only few people that could pull off a Jason character (the kind the never gets hurt), would be Kane and Vader.. But the other guys would play decent normal killers.

I'm sure I could think of more, but I'm getting sleepy. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

Damn Topher you got an awesome list. And I agree Saturn from his dress wearing WCW days (loved his feud with Jericho) would be great. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I've only really skimmed through Topher's list, so apologies if I've repeated anything.

Kane - obvious.
Perry Saturn - would be good in Cherry Falls, like Topher said, but he would be perfect in a Psycho remake.
Undertaker - would be good reprising his bounty hunter role from Suburban Commando.
Droz - I think it's absolutely terrible that Droz was put in a wheelchair for life, but I really want to say that it means he would be good as Franklin in TCM. However, that would be a ridiculously sick joke, so let's just make him... uh... Nancy from New Nightmare, because she throws up too, when she sees her husband dead.

Most of the obvious have been mentioned, so here's an idea that I've seen thrown around before, SCSA in a new TCM movie, he would make a great, really crazy addition to whatever new family there'd be.

William Regal. I'm thinking in a priest from Dead Alive sort of role. Quiet and unassuming, until it becomes time to kick some ass. Boo-ya.

I guess now he could be the goodwill ambasador of horror films too. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif

I am so surprised nobody has said the ultimate hero-badass: Chris Jericho.

The man could kick some zombie ass and drop one-liners the equivalent of Roddy Piper mixed with battery acid. I would glady fork down my money to see him storm the castle and pack serious heat. He would do it well.

Also, that one big-refrigerator-Perry black dude with the fx contact lenses who use to be with The Kindred. What has it's name ??????? Like his career, all he'd have to do is show up, extend his beefy arms, and BINGO- instant Godzilla.

Add to list:
Paul Bearer
Sting
Jake The Snake
The ghost of Jerry Blackwell
Mad Dog Vachon

Not horror, but I think Mick Foley would have been great as bob in Fight Club. Meatloaf was ok, but foley would have been awesome.

You're thinking of Visera a.k.a. King Mabel.

Thanks guys, I've been watching wrestling and horror movies for a while, so I've thought of this before... Here are some more.

The Godfather, but when he was PAPA SHANGO! A good voodoo/cannibal would be great with him in it.

Gangrel would be great in a vampire movie.. Remember when he used to do those Blood Baths? Also, he had something done to his teeth, so he has vampire fangs.

Luna Vachon.. She's the scariest looking woman I've ever seen, and btw she's married to Gangrel. Put her in a vampire movie or one where she's in a circus freak show.

Piper would make a good insane person.. Look at some of his interviews in the 80's.

Rhino would make a good killer. Hell, he could be a monster like Kane. His finisher is the Gore, how fitting for a horror movie.

I could see The Honkey Tonk Man as an insane man who thinks he really is Elvis, and would kill anyone who says otherwise.

One last one, DDP as an insane infomercial host.

That's pretty much it besides the wrestlers you guys have mentioned. I'm late I need to run, see ya.

Doink the Clown! I don't watch wrestling anymore, but I would be tempted to if Doink made a comeback. I loved it when his circus music started and he would go down the walkway being mean to all of the little kiddies.

Heeey don't make fun of The Rock! I know I may be a dweeb but I love The Rock, give him a break we don't know whether The Scorpion King is bad or good yet. I'm gonna see it http://www.joblo.com/ubb/smile.gif anyway I'd have to agree with some of the people and say the Undertaker, he'd be a great villain or just a hard ass in general.

Kinda sounds like the Darth Vader theme from Star Wars.

Nope. He was just at Wrestlemania X-7.

Does anyone remember when Joel Gertner was doing gimmick matches in Kamala make up? Funny stuff.

Who remember's that guy Nailz who had a fued with the Boss Man in the early 90's?? He would make a great psycho bad guy. He scared the crap outta me when i was little, he was intense and had a really deep gravel like voice.

Also, Demolition were a classic "scary" tag team. My recollections of them are faint, but I do remember their warped face paint. It looked like they had blood running down their faces at all times.

Alas, Nailz made the rather huge mistake of lying on oath about Vince Mcmahon. He said vince was involved in steroid dealing during a trial in the mid 90s in which vince looked like he might have to do major jail time for. Nailz was proved to be lying, and the phrase "you'll never work in this town again" proved all to true for him. As well as the fact VKM would probably use all his influence to stop Nailz getting anything other than cheap labour jobs again, no one really wants to hire someone who has a track record of lying against the boss in major court cases do they?

Nailz was actually fired from the WWF for attacking Vince McMahon, once he was fired is when he falsly testified against Vince.

I think George "The Animal" Steele would make a great zombie.
