View Full Version : THE NEVER ENDING HORROR TRIVIA GAME!
SteveSzyk

Welcome all to the Never Ending Horror Trivia Game! Heres the idea: I'll start off with a trivia question. I'll start off with a simple one. Then the first person to answer, will answer and then post another question. Make sure you are sure of the answer, and if your not the question you answered wrong is still up for grabs, but if you get it right, you get a point. So it goes: My question, someone's answer, and their question, someone else's answer, and their question, etc... Make sense? I hope so... Oh and then whenever the time feels right, we will end the game and whoever has the most points wins! Get it? Ok here we go! I'll go first!
Who directed Halloween?

You're not talking about "The Fury" from '78, in which she played a VERY small role, are you? "The Final Terror" seems like a better guess.

o.k guys i really love this game and i just thought that fans of Dressed To Kill would know the answer, and with the new DVD release...you know i'm sorry this question was quite hard so i'm giving the answer:
it was the 7th floor
and i'm asking a new question:
For which film did John Carpenter win an Oscar and what was the categorie?
Antonio
09-29-2001, 01:24 PM
SALAMAR, are you speaking of director John Carpenter of HALLOWEEN fame? If so, the Internet Movie Database does not mention any Oscar nominations or wins for this underrated filmmaker. Was that the answer? Zero? Or is there another John Carpenter (since you didn't refer to him as the HALLOWEEN director).
Salamar
09-29-2001, 01:35 PM
Antonio, John Carpenter one of my fav directors, the man who did masterpieces like Halloween and In The Mouth Of Madness did win an Oscar, it was for his short film The Resurrection Of Bronco Billy (1970)
Anyway another question guys:
We all know that John Carpenter composed the music for most of his films but there were some exceptions, name the films(not TV movies)with the music not composed by the man himself?
countchocula
09-29-2001, 06:18 PM
Carpenter won an Academy Award, not an Oscar.

Ok, that was very obscure.
A: They used one of her guns, and yes they showed it in rather graphic detail, quite a shocking little scene.
Bonus Answer (*contains spoiler*): Susan's boyfriend tells her he has poisoned her. Susan despising the undead and her weak willed boyfriend pitches his punk ass out the window of the tall apartment building they live in. As he is laying on the street below, unable to move due to all of his fractured bones he makes the comment, "I should have shot her when I had the chance"

No and since my question has been here awhile without any responses I will answer the question. I must also say that Any Stephen King fan should read the Steven King Companion because this is where his idea for Carrie was explained.
Carrie was born one day while Steven was working at the laundry mat. He was observing his supervisor who was a plain lady who always shouted out scriptures out of the blue. This particular day after observing this behavior he wondered what kind of child this woman would have had if she had, had any. http://www.joblo.com/ubb/tongue.gif

It was dah dah dah a star! Formed out in the store when Lionel knocked some stuff over, a couple of pencils and a weird rubber thing I think. But it truely just looks like a cross with a arc over the top, now here's my question.
In John Carpenters "In The Mouth of Madness" how many times did Sam Neils character try to escape the town by driving out, only to find himself inside the town again?

Well, the lizard and the bird are relevant to the story, BUT...SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bird is definitely a fake. I was talking about the strange little clip of a very nasty and vicious dogfight that happens for no apparent reason when Marcus is beginning his search. Not to say that anything Argento throws in is meaningless...pretty much everything has a point, but I personally haven't discovered the meaning to that one yet. I LOVE Argento, though, whatever the case. Seriously...I'm in love with him...

Then in the mental institute I could claim to feel better, and eventually be let out.

What do you mean hes been doing it before i registered? From what i see we both registered in March so what makes you think he was here before me? I WAS HERE BEFORE TEENKILLER AND THOSE ARE MY TRADEMARKS!! Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

I'm with Freddy on this one, and if anyone has any doubts about whether meech really did it first (yeah right) in all the topics he's posted in, he's only said the good journey thing one other time, and it was the only other post that has teenkiller in it too (if that makes any sense...) oh yeah anyway...I think I'll take my own advice and ignore him now....

Meech have you nothing better to do then make fun of people who have made a decent contribution to this board. Go chew on your mullet and stay the hell away from this board.

put this meech character in the nutt house just like Chewtoy, lets see, heres my reasons to hate this dip shit:
#1: how the hell can he say that that was his phrase when Teenkillers been on the board longer than him
#2: every body on this board wishes they had a catchy phrase like Teenkiller, but theyd be called a rip-off like bloody Murder on friday the 13th
#3: Hes off topic
and #4: no one likes you keep offr the board cuz if u dont talk horror, your not welcome
well thats all for now, GOoD journeys my fellow schmoes,

Well since I'd like to try and keep this on topic, I'm going to grasp at straws and take a guess at teenkillers question.....ok here goes...
Tom Savini did the cameo because the director of Maniac owed him a favor because...Tom Savini did make up effects in one of his movies?
Okay that was a lame answer, but desperate times call for desperate measures

Who played Andy's mother in Child's Play and what tv sitcom is she now famous for starring in? (thats 2 questions sorry, but its easy!)
7th heaven, by the way is a drama, not a sitcom! Sorry but I hate TV mix ups!

Yeah, well I didn't have a clue, just trying to keep this from being deleted. Anyway, I was off looking at other messages from chewdog to see if there were similarities between the two. There's is defenitly a few, they both have a hurried, somewhat incoherent way of talking. Of course they both like[d] to sabatoge things, only chewdog was almost always ignored, until he started adding all those meaningless topics. Meech; however, seems to have found a way to cause sabatoge to a topic quicker, by copying teenkiller. So it seems he's had experience with causing disorder before. Now maybe they're just a couple of seperate jerk offs who have no lives. But the similarities are there......

Thats some good work ominous oat! You've got great detective skills. We gotta find out if Meech is really Chewtoy or not. Even if they are different people they're both jerkoffs. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

We are getting WAYYYY off topic with this, and I cant ever figure out who's turn it is to ask a question....and on top of that, we have the "Bizarr-O teenkiler" posting fake messages to try and F with our heads.
Teenkiller: Mabye you know this guy personally, afterall, he claims to come from the same city as you, and he's mad at you for something.

Hmm... Good thinking R&J. He claims that we're from the same area so maybe I do know him. I'm gonna see if its any of my friends (?) trying to play a prank on me or something like that. I'll let you guys know if I find anything out. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.

Nobodys figured out the answer yet? Its pretty obvious. I thought everybody knew this one. This was gonna be my question but of course teenkiller stole it from me like he did everything else so i wasnt able to use it. I AM THE FUKCIN KING!! I created it all everybody on this board has ripped off of me at some point or another!! I'm the only original poster on this board! Everyone else looks up to me like I'm their greatest hero and icon (as they should because I am the greatest and funniest person to ever live). But this time its gone too far. Ive had enough. I cannot believe the audacity of some of these people!! I started the red frowny face and I STARTED GOoD JOURNEY!! It was all me. teenkiller is nothing but an unoriginal prick and you guys should stop siding with him. This is between me and him and nobody else so you all should just mind your businesses because nobody asked for your two cents. Its been done to death already. I saw it from the beginning. I told them that this would happen but they wouldnt listen! I saw it from the start but they all accused me of lying. Well whose lying now you worthless motherfukcers!! You'll be crying blood by morning. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
