Wow! I know that Zombie is well known but I just saw it for the first time last night and was really impressed...on the back of the Anchor Bay edition (which is awesome), it states that the film was marketed as a follow up to Dawn of the Dead and even promoted as the sequel in Italy. As for the setup I didn't see that as true, but the ending seems more like Fulci was trying to create a prequel to explain Dawn of the Dead (even though Romero did it himself in NOTLD). Anyone have any ideas? Also, the other night I watched Peter Jackson's Dead Alive for the first time on IFC (Independent Film Channel which rocks for showing gore films uncut), and all I can say is AH! It had to be the goriest film I've ever seen, yet hilarious at the same time. Anyone see this one before?

Yeah Dead-Alive was awesome. Goriest movie ever. Zombie was good but not till the end. It took a while for it to build up for me to get into it. As for the sequel talk I have no idea. Well thats all for now GOoD JOURNEY my fellow schmoes.
