original horror films? Are they still possible?

I was in the pub with my friend Paula the other day and we were talking about remaking horror films from old plots, and we started talking about whether the genre has been bled totally dry? The real question is "Are there any ideas left?" SUGGESTIONS PLEASE.

Good post i'm sure there are several ideas that haven't been used but I can't name them because I don't know any. When some one comes out with a totaly new movie based on a new idea i'm sure some of us will think to ourselevs "why didn't i think of that?" The ideas are out there all you have to do is think really hard about them and you'll eventually come up with a totaly unheard film.
