Since you guys have an amazing knowledge of these movies and manage to get the titles of movies with even the smallest of clues, I'd figure I'd post a curiousity I've had for some time. I watched a movie on TV which, when all said and done, seemed really awesome to me if not a little cheesy, (but it had a zombie-type flare to it so cheese was inevitable... Zombies are like pizza, a lot of red stuff plus cheese with a doughy outer covering, lol).
Anyways, I only saw the middle hour of it so my details are a little off... it was about a meteor that crashes on Earth and these four or so people survive the initial impact but it kills off like everyone else minus these scientist guys who want to go back on the surface. But, zombie-like people and (maybe I'm mixing DOTD in here on accident) these biker gang type people were in it too. Lol, I have no clue if this helps at all but maybe you guys know it.
I swear it had a cheesy meteor type title like, Day of the Meteor? perhaps... I don't know.
